And if you watch cars on the overpass you can tell that what ever that white object was, was on the other side of the overpass

I wasn't in New York to see it all so I'll never know for sure, but it's completely possible that it was fake. Go watch movies and tell me people can't render some amazing graphics nowadays. As far as eyewitnesses I would think there would be a few more cameras rolling AS it happened if people really saw it. It's New York...
