it takes so much for huntingtons families to stay strong. every day is a battle and you loose your best friends being those lost to huntingtons. i have lost a grandfather 1 aunt and 2 aunts are suffering. also my best friend in the world MY MOTHER. i am the daughter of a positive huntingtons patient. i am 50-50. and question my life everyday. i now have 2 of my own kids and am deathly scared for them everyday. we all need to stay brave. god bless
I can relate to this..my grandmother (my dad's mother) has this disease and now my uncle (my dad's brother) is showing signs of it. I was little when my grandmother was showing signs. She is in a nursing home and slowly slipping away. It is horrible.. =[ i miss her everyday and wish there was a cure for this. She has no idea who we are. My dad (who is 40) got tested and has no signs so that puts me at a somewhat low risk. Your family will be in my prayers,
I just want to say I think you are very brave for posting this video when you are a sufferer yourself - I cannot begin to imagine how difficult it must be emotionally. Thank you for raising awareness. My mother and my sister both have HD, but at least they are adults - watching a child have the symptoms must be heart-breaking. Let's hope a cure is found soon, and people support the HDA.
I cant even explain how much this video hurts my soul. My husband has Huntingtons and our daughter is at risk. She is 5 and sometimes I see signs of the disease in her..
I am so very very sorry that you have to go through this. It is to much for any person, it´s the most painfull experience I have ever had and will ever have in my life.
