WillJStudio, our videos are intended for use by our class members who have already been taught the dance in person and issued with a stepsheet. They are created with a view to accompany this, rather than to be learnt from scratch.
Plus, the time taken to film, edit and upload the videos is also an issue, as we teach about ten new dances a month!
If you're going to put up a video how about making it instructional? That is, demonstrate the steps slowly, without the music, broken down into eight count sections. Then put it all together, moderately, calling the steps. Then at tempo with the music track. And how about putting up a link to the step sheet and information about the choreographer, when the dance was released, the name of the tune and the artist who recorded it? Slainte!
