  • Paul Pena is listed as a member of the T-Bone Walker Blues Band, which played in the Montreux Jazz Festival, June 17, 1972. One For The Lonely is the 8th song in the set. Does anyone have a recording of that set?

  • @furfreak4 I have a recording of it. I'll send it to you if you want. It's slightly higher tempo and the guitar has less effect and more distortion. It's one of my very favorite songs. I'll send it to you by email if you would like?

  • The live version of this, I think, is from the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1972 where he recorded live. Not sure though, as I have a copy of the live version but have never been able to find any definitive information on it.

  • @mrpgalluzz If you could share it that would be greatly appreciated. Live Paul Pena is hard to find.

  • So, who did the live version of this song (presumably performed in France (or Montreal?), because the performer says he wishes he could speak some French). I would love to find the rest of this live performance. Google is turning up nothing.

  • awesome - thanks for posting it. if you put up more from this LP, look through my videos.... i got a few up already...been trying to find the time to finish

  • thank you for putting this up
