  • I can honestly say that the Joker is my hero...lol

  • Mark Hamill is an amazing voice actor.

  • Cyanide pie.

    Kid's show?!

  • My favorite scene from the whole series.

and ironic that Luke skywalker performs the joker

    return of the jedi quote

never I'll turn to the dark side yet ala joker

    and even more ironic

  • when someone says that something isnt funny, shits get a whole lot real...agreed?

  • Maybe it me, but the mood swings of Joker are pretty threatening.

  • Who's here for Chinese?!

  • "And I'll be smiling again, just as soon as we take that man there, and slap him in that box there, and roll it in that vat of acid there!" XD That line always gives me the Joker giggles

  • @shootthekitty

Agreed. Mark Hamill's delivery is legendary.

  • Harley's not crying on Joker's order.

She crying because Batman was the best lay she ever had.

    All bitches love the Batman.

  • After ceremony…

Joker: *Sigh!* (Later, feeling better) Well, THAT was fun! Who's for Chinese?

(Insert Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel clip here)

Theodore: Oh, oh! Me, me, me, me!

    Simon: Let's eat.

    (They scamper off)

  • had to watch this after I beat arkham city, needed to hear Harleys solo.

  • Anyone really feel sad when Joker started crying for his hated enemy's passing?

When I saw this episode for the first time, I was convinced that he was genuinely in mourning until his last line in this video.

  • @JimmySteller I felt the same way

and maybe he really was yet at the same time the wonderful antagonist

    we love to dislike

and thus a great complex antagonist Batman the animated series forever

  • @benji17011 ps Mark Hamill is a great Joker

  • Who is here because they love BOTH Batman: TAS AND TV Tropes?

  • Anyone else here because of Captain Logan?

  • The Joker

No one can put the Fun in Funeral quite like him...R.I.P. Jerry Robinson.

  • R.I.P. Jerry Robinson, the creator of The Joker

  • Who is here because they simply like Batman The Animated Series?

  • This was my absolute favorite episode from Batman TAS, XD.

I just found it touching, interesting and hilarious (I so love black humor)

  • Anyone else love how Joker the man who hated Batman the most is the only one that made an effort to honor Batman with a funeral?

  • I'm here because of a recommendation. I didn't watch Batman tas too much, but this episode was excellent.

  • This scene more than any thing else really touches on the complex nature of the Joker/Batman feud. Joker wouldn't have nearly as much fun if it wasn't for someone like Batman to get in his way, and everytime Batman questions his war on crime, Joker reminds him that he's needed in Gotham.

  • KahmeiGaGa: I think Harley cries because 1) she actually kinda likes Batman, and 2) she knows the Joker is HEARTBROKEN. Note she bursts into tears when he says 'today is the day the clown cried.' And then she has a fresh sobbing fit every time he mentions one of his thwarted Batman murder plans :) I think she's crying for him more than for Batman.

  • I like the part where Joker said:

He's never this late...I cause trouble, he shows up, we have some laughs and we start all over again....But I have this bad feeling he's not really showing up

  • Harley is talented

  • I'm here because of Captain Logan.

  • There is no piece of music that cannot be improved by the kazoo. PROVE ME WRONG.

  • WHO'S HERE BECAUSE OF NOBODY, EXCEPT THAT YOU LOVE THIS SHOW.

  • Mark Hamill at his FINEST!

  • MAX HEADROOM : sid the squid Matt Frewer

  • I fucking love this show <3 Wish shows nowadays were this good.

  • Who's here because of Arkham City?

  • Saw the episode on the HUB. Had to see it again.

  • well that was fun.. whose up for chinese?

  • Who is here because he likes Batman and is a real fan and not because he was sent here?

  • @WillowOsbourne

    Who's up for Chinese afterwards?

  • @WillowOsbourne Actually for the joker but whatever

  • @WillowOsbourne Dislike the assumption of he but still a Batman fan

  • Serious is anyone aside of me, here because of Nostalgia ?

Not NC or TV Tropes ?

  • 11 people need some cyanide pie.

  • Lolololol

  • @GAF1987 His spats.

  • @Deathlock84 That's because he was saved by Batman.

  • This is the funniest Harley Quinn has ever been! And WTF happened with "we couldn't show deaths in Batman:TAS" when the producer said that in the other clip !?

  • @MrTrilliondollarman

show of hands...who was here before they saw the nostalgia critic?

  • This is the most awesome thing in the history of anything.

    LOL XD

  • A guy getting locked in a coffin and dropped in acid should not be that funny.

  • @norulesblackbeanie And yet...

  • Best eulogy ever. LOL XD

  • Who's here because of TV Tropes?

  • @leosnake100, me.

  • Even the Joker knows when to play it straight.

  • That is a horrible death.

  • Haha mound of disease? I'll never forget that now!

  • Omg epic amazing grace by Harley.

  • @romboloyo to make it more epic, they did the whole song in one take.

  • @Emigdiosback They could only do one take because everyone was laughing too hard afterward to do another one.

  • disregard the " New Yok " typo below. Damn typos !

  • The Joker, Lex Luthor & perhaps Dr. Doom, Moriarty, & The Master - If you kill their respective rivals / enemies, they'll snuff your candle in less than a New Yok minute !

  • Joker: well that was fun! who's up for chinese?

    Me: Priceless LOLZ

  • its funny at 1:50

  • The fist three seconds were the best... And then the final 10 seconds also rocked.

  • WOW, GENIUS. I NEVER REALIZED THAT FUN WAS IN FUNERAL!

  • 1:31 -> 1:37 BEST. RANT. EVER XD

  • 1:17-1:18 ~ Whoa, Precision F-Strike there, Joker.

  • Harley's Kazoo playing is pitiful in comparison to Paw from TGWTG

  • Show of hands...who's here because of the Nostalgia Critic?

  • @MrTrilliondollarman

    Nostalgiacritic fucking blows.

  • @KajexFiredrake

Screw you...you're just jealous because he has his own company.

  • @MrTrilliondollarman

Tim Langdell has his own company and he still fails- there's no jealousy in it, they both just fucking fail.

  • @KajexFiredrake

ThatGuy's revenues tell me a different story.

  • 80 bucks best money iever spent to buy the batman TAS boxsets

I LOVE THIS SHOW like you guys have no idea

  • I REMEMBER SEEING THIS!!!!!

    Good childhood memories, man.

  • cyanide pie in the face LOL

  • Amazing!, can't believe i missed this episode.

  • @vleon1012 I think he said "weaselly little gunsel" and "insignificant goniff" (ganef? gonif? Yiddish is way hard to spell.) Weird that he would use Yiddish though... And I question which definition of gunsel he was going for: "a young male kept as a sexual companion, esp. by an older tramp" or "a criminal carrying a gun." A goniff, as far as I can tell, is just "a thief, swindler, crook, or rascal".

  • It's rare that ANYONE can get under Joker's skin and break his dark comedic persona. It would take something like depriving him his greatest ambition to touch a nerve.

  • I love the scene when Joker cry..

    2:40

  • hahahaha

    1:36

  • .... Everyone realizes that he survived, right? Batman AND Sid.

  • @TheDoctorofOdoIsland but..How?

  • @Cazxiro This is the same Chemical Plant where Jack Napier transformed into the Joker. Those vats drain into the river (for some reason). Batman pulled the plug at the last second, causing the coffin to be whisked out into the river before the acid ate through it. It bobbed up to the surface, washed ashore, and Sid got away with the glorious distinction of evading the Joker.

  • this is pretty violent for a cartoon

    i miss the 90's

  • I'd laugh my fucking ass off if I saw batman sit on an exploding whoopy coushin in the bat mobile! XD

  • the last few seconds of this clip is why this was my favorite cartoon of all time!

  • man this cartoon had some balls

  • LOL

Joker:(sigh) .... Well that was fun!

    ROFL XD

  • wow.....that was dark...

  • 9 people took the fun out of funeral

  • Scotty's bagpipes got NOTHING on Harley's kazoo

  • @topster888 scotty's bagpipes are way better and Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan is an amazing movie

  • GO SID

  • They don't make cartoons like this anymore. Joker is such a sick minded dick it's funny.

  • @smcneal057 I agree. We need cartoons like these back.

  • 1:22

Apparently the Joker speaks a bit of Yiddish. What fun.

  • "Well that was fun!, Who's up for chiniese?"XD

  • @TTNoble77 The way he said that mad me wonder. Does he really believe batman's dead? or is he putting on an act?

  • Gunsel: In prison, a cheap little punk.

  • I luv this scene

  • I loved this one!!!!! He kills a guy by throwing him in a coffen, drowned him in acid, then Out of all the funny things to come out of hysterical mouth, he had to say, "who wants Chinese?"

  • Wow. that's pretty awful. They killed him. @_@

  • @NicoKenRawr Nah, Batman saved him.

  • @NicoKenRawr

Nah. Batman saved him at the last second. The show usually didn't kill anyone, for obvious reasons. But you always thought they might. It was awesome like that.

  • *sniff* that was beautiful

  • " the Squid" reminds me of the guy in the opening scene of Batman Forever (the vault filled with acid)

  • LOL

  • goodle the word "gunsel". They sure knew how to get crap past the censors back in the day

  • @TheSicknessUntoDeath I know! Because of "The Maltese falcon" I actually know what it means. I practically fell of my chair when he said it!

  • @TheSicknessUntoDeath "A person carrying a gun" is the definition I got.

  • @TheSicknessUntoDeath Ohhh, I saw the slang definition. xD

  • Cyanide Pie. xD

  • "Who's up for chinese :D" lmao

  • the background music is awesome

  • 8 people aren't up for Chinese.

  • I like how all the people stepped away for the guy who killed batman. Harly is the best

  • wait... was the the old 90s batman cartoon? DID THEY JUST ACID-BATH A GUY TO DEATH!? DID BATMAN REALLY DIE!? did they just play amazing grace on a kazoo?

  • @Gigas0101

    yes; he got better though.

no, but batman let everyone think he did.

    yes. kazoo = awesome.

  • @mrtrin

Thanks for all of that, I now remember why I really, REALLY liked the adventures of batman.

  • I think a reason Joker so passionately wants to kill Batman is because, aside from Batman always foiling him, Batman is one of the people who is not outwardly scared of him. All Joker has to do is show up and even other villains wet their pants because of his unpredictablity.

But Batman keeps his emotions hidden from Joker. He denies Joker to have what he wants most in their encounters; control.

    That sound right?

  • I'm up for chinese too!

  • 8 people are going to end up in coffins rolling towards acid

  • Wow...Amazing Grace on a kazoo...win

  • OMG! gruesome lol

  • joker: well that was fun! who is up for chinese? harley: i am!

  • Danm that guy is screwed...XD Joker sure is pissed his arch enemy is dead!

Joker <3 Batman THIS VIDEO IS PROOF!!!!!!!!!!

  • Just as soon as we take that man there and slap him in that box there and roll it into that vat of acid There

  • Kazoo version of Amazing Grace for the WIN!!!

  • I want chinese...:)

  • I'm going to put my mouse THERE, and put it over the replay button THERE, and then roll it into that vat of acid THERE!.

  • Końcówka najlepsza! :)) Padłam jak ją zobaczyłam:)

    Super filmik:)

  • kazoo rendition of 'Amazing Grace'? really? woooooooooow

  • WTF!? I know Batman is supposed to be dark, but did they actually just kill a guy by putting him in a coffin and rolling it into a vat of acid? I haven't seen the episode- is there some kind of twist at the end that he doesn't die, or that he gets rescued? There's dark, then there's showing kids a guy being melted in a vat of acid...

  • @videogamenostalgia yah, I know what you mean, but I don't have the answer either, lol

  • @videogamenostalgia Dude relax, be glad that there are cartoons that show you that crime does end in a brutal manner sometimes. Unlike todays filtered cartoons where everyone goes to HAPPY PUPPY LAND, "OMG A GUY HAS A GUN POINTED AT BATMAN, WAIT!!!ITS NOT A GUN ITS A PUPPY YAY!!!!!!"........lame

  • @vexshado Wait...what?

  • @videogamenostalgia The guy actually survives, don't worry; the whole episode is about how he deals with the backlash from "killing" Batman

  • @videogamenostalgia Batman wasn't really dead:D and bat's saved the day

  • @videogamenostalgia Find the episode or buy the dvd and you'll find out. ;)

  • @videogamenostalgia This was a show that's supposed to be dark it's BATMAN not some kiddie show. If you want kids to watch a more child like Batman show have them watch Brave and the Bold. This show was aimed at semi mature audiences

  • @TriggerHappyChicken No matter what you say, this was a kid's show. Granted, it was extremely well written and can be enjoyed by adults also, but most people saw this first when they were kids. Whilst that in no way means that they should make it sterile and non-threatening (like the brave and the bold), there should still be a line drawn between stuff you can and can't show kids. Taken out of context, this is pretty risky stuff. There's 'batman' dark, then there's painfully killing a man...

  • @videogamenostalgia The man never died, batman saves him before the coffin burns through and after jokers gone.

  • @TriggerHappyChicken Nah man, it's a kids' show. No shame in that either, the very best kids' shows stand the test of time/can be enoyed by all ages.

  • @ureallysuckglobes I will agree with that it can be enjoyed by everyone, hell i still watch it but i i guess we also have to remember things were quite a bit different back then from now. All the good shows are pretty much gone :(

  • @videogamenostalgia BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN!1!!ONE1!!

  • @videogamenostalgia The guy survives. The coffin that was dropped in the acid is sucked into a drainage pipe at the bottom of the vat of acid. As the acid eats away at the coffin, it opens up, and the coffin is floating in the river.

  • @LilZero THAT BITCH LIVES?!!! DAMMIT!!!

  • @boomkrakatoa Yep! The coffin just goes into a drain pipe and it leads to the river. The coffin opens up and it is floating down a river. He is one lucky guy.

  • Lol I totally want Joker to do my eulogy. PREACH ON, BROTHAH

  • i love this video!

  • Gunsel? is that even a word?

  • @unkwonstudios It sure is!!! It is another term for a torpedo, or broken down into simplest terms, a tommy boy(meaning a young gangster carrying a Thompson sub-machinegun). It was a popular term back in the days of Al Capone.
