I agree with what your getting at here i carry a sig sp2022 9 mm im training my gf to safely shot with one of these c11 which are fun cheap to shoot and really accurate for a co2 pistol so far all she will shoot is my 22 revolver and is not comfterable with anything larger but theres work to be done good review man these things are great practice on those days when you want to just step out your door and pop off a few shots

Thanks for the kind words.. Take a look at the Colt Defender video I recently posted.. It is a good "upgrade" from the C11 and is not much money.. It gets more shots (nearly 100 per co2) and is almost all metal.

most certainly.. but knowing how to use a "real" gun in a tense situation is a mystery to most folks. When you've put the time in to training your body to shoot and hit your target as a reflex without aiming.. then you're much better prepared for if you ever have to use a real gun..

It is a good practice to just shoot it until empty.. leaving it in can give you fits with the seal.. I've had mixed results. I used to just leave them in, but they always eventually leak out anyway.. so now I just shoot them until empty.

as accurate as bb pistols are.. the higher velocity of this gun really helps with accuracy.. you can hit a quarter a 10 paces, if you do your part.

Hey there,

This is a very subjective question... Many people love this pistol, some don't. It all comes down to personal preference. Crosman's come out with the C12 and the C31, both are also very nice. I like the C21 a bit more.

Clip is viable , meaning 'detachable box magazine' . This is the 21st century , firearms haven't been introduced to use stripper clips since God knows when . American English is constantly evolving , get over the clip vs. magazine issue .

It depends on where you are shooting and at what. I have a great air soft "glock" blowback training pistol that I use for more realistic training and I use the C11 BB pistol for fun. I like the feel, power, and accuracy of the C11 more but you have to be careful because it can cause damage to objects that you may not intend to hit.

I just got this gun yesterday and I noticed that the clip falls out really easily. All I have to do is shake the gun and the clip will unhook and fall out. Is that a problem with all C11s or should I return mine?

the c11 and the c11 airmag are two different guns.. this is the c11 that shoots metal bbs.. the airmag shoots plastic bbs.

I have a question that I hope you can help me with. I bought the c11 tactical version that comes with a fake silencer. The silencer screws off but the barrel pokes a couple inches off the front of the gun. How badly would it affect the accuracy if i cut down the barrel to the size of the regular c11? Any input is appreciated.

you don't want to do that.. The extra barrel length adds about 100 fps to the gun... leave it and just leave the fake silencer on it.

@AirGunWeb are those copper head bb's, i have the same but on my c11 the first few shots are weak after a few shots they start to shoot hard. do you think yhe copper heads are too heavy for the c11, before i used copper head bbs i used the daisy .177 brand and all of them shot hard and fast

This is a sweet gun. I just got it and would TOTALLY reccomend it. Easy to load, ridiculous accuracy, HUGE magazine capacity for a BB gun (Clip holds 20 rounds), very fast, and easy to use.

the word "training" should underline the fact that it is for "training" not for use as an actual defense weapon. I have my .45 and my Taurus Judge for those situations.. of course my Remington 870 stands ready too... not to mention my Ruger P85, and my pair of Taurus 357s.
