Hey, I saw a sickle today as I was staring off into space at a cross my husband gave me that is hanging on my wall' i'll have to share it soon. anyhow I instinctively thought a sickle well that's for harvesting. Well, what's holding me from "re"-committing is the issue of suffering! If there's an interactive God(jesus), then why soooo many people suffering? I really don't think feeling ill has anything to do with the rapture. Make sure you keep your eyes on Israel and the peace deal. It looks as if the "bridegroom" has tarried and the "master delays His coming." God knew this would happen and we're still within His plan. Time is still short. Ignore the scoffers and keep pressing on!
No, people wouldn't. There are several verses in the new Testament that point to Jesus' divinity. But, whenever these are shown, an excuse is always thought up so that the Bible can be dismissed.
One wouldn't use the bible as proof due to it being a book written by men! Also, the bible just is in no way proof! When I requested proof I should have been more clear however, all theists that take their commitment seriously should be able to back their claims up outside of the bible anyway. You are wrong. I have been a Christian for 2 years. I have read it front to back, and am in the process of finishing a second time. Reading and understanding God's Word is a life-time commitment. I see the divinity of Christ throughout scripture. I don't rely on others telling me this, I read it myself. Like Firecharger, I don't need to "research" the inner workings of Greco-Roman culture to understand the truth of Christ's deity. Christ Himself proclaimed His deity, and I believe Him.

But the truth is undeniable, and the peace I've experienced since I've come to know that truth is unlike anything I've ever experienced. God reaches out to you every day. I believe there's some corruption in parts of it. I think some people believe that Noah added to it after Enoch wrote it? I don't know exactly why it's not in the bible.

I did a study on enoch a while back and there are some biblical inaccuracies in it. Quite a few actually. Things that do not line up with the rest of God's word. So that is why most people do not regard it as true scripture.

I believe that those left behind after the rapture can, and many will, repent and trust Christ as savior. Many of those that trust Christ during the Tribulation will be martyred. Those that don't trust Christ will be denied entrance to Christ's Millenial Kingdom and will be cast into the Lake of Fire. Those that die during the Tribulation as non-believers will be resurrected at the final judgment and then cast into the Lake of Fire.

True....sadly, one of the brothers up there in the comments referred to us naysayers as "tares." How sad. All it takes is a fair-minded, objective prayerful approach to the scriptures to know that the rapture occurs after the tribulation. Not my words -- Jesus' Words. Unfortunately, many of those who expect to be raptured prematurely, are the same ones who will fall away, feeling let down and foresaken. These are the tares -- not we, who are prepared by the truth of God's Word, for testing.
For you to say that pre-trib christians are the "Tares" is absurd. Pre-trib leanings or not, I am a spirit filled child of God, not some week kneed part-time believer! If "Thee" Tribulation starts tomorrow then I'm ready for it. I've had lots of tribulation in my life as many others have, we are already battle tested and spiritual warriors for Christ! Your thinking is in error and you underestimate God's people who are led by the Holy Spirit and the Word!

I am in fellowship with many pre-tribbers who are true converts & I don't assume that they are tares, nor did I state so. Glad to hear that you are prepared. Truthfully, sometimes I am afraid--I've read Foxe's Book of Martyrs and I wonder if I'll die as well as they did. Then I remember that though I'm weak, it's God Himself that gives us strength & grace, that He may be glorified.
Sorry -- actually, I wrote "many." The Word of God says the road is narrow and there are few that will be saved (paraphrasing), so it stands to reason that many will fall away. Remember that a great falling away is also prophesied. To be fair, many includes falsely converted post-tribbers, too. Those of us who are true converts will persevere through Christ who strengthens us regardless of our eschatological views. My apologies for misquoting my own comments! God bless~!

Friend, There will be no rapture. It's not a biblical principle of either Hebrew Scriptures or the Christian Scriptures. If there is going to be a "Tribulation", it will have all involved. You do not get a free pass out of this. G-d test his beloved (Deut. 13). If there is going to be a test, your going to be tested once you realize that there is no rapture and a "falling away" will happen. You've been warned.

I love my brethren in Christ, and Firecharger among them, but pre-trib is just not scriptural. We need to prepare for tribulation -- spiritually & emotionally. We need to remain strong in the faith & reach out to the lost. We cannot be waiting to be whisked into the clouds when that's not what/how Jesus said would come to pass. Hey, I saw a sickle today as I was staring off into space at a cross my husband gave me that is hanging on my wall' i'll have to share it soon. anyhow I instinctively thought a sickle well that's for harvesting. Aside from the wolf in lamb's clothing and tolerance of most immoral acts in society, I believe the fire of the spirit is strong in those who wholeheartedly yearns for the flame. I used to study biology and anthropology and am well educated. I studied all aspects of religion. I have read my Bible, at least twice. This very could be the time that has been told of. Weather or not. the Bible says the saints stand against the beast system. This is the first time i've ever paid special attetnion to a Jewish Feast day in reference to the Lords possibly catching us away in the clouds. I really don't think feeling ill has anything to do with the rapture. Make sure you keep your eyes on Israel and the peace deal. It looks as if the "bridegroom" has tarried and the "master delays His coming." God knew this would happen and we're still within His plan. Time is still short. No, people wouldn't. There are several verses in the new Testament that point to Jesus' divinity. But, whenever these are shown, an excuse is always thought up so that the Bible can be dismissed.

One wouldn't use the bible as proof due to it being a book written by men! Also, the bible just is in no way proof! When I requested proof I should have been more clear however, all theists that take their commitment seriously should be able to back their claims up outside of the bible anyway. The bible confirms what I know to be true, and reveals God's truth, nature, expectations, and promises. Jesus is God, and He reached out to me and saved me from destruction. You are wrong. I have been a Christian for 2 years. I have read it front to back, and am in the process of finishing a second time. Reading and understanding God's Word is a life-time commitment. I see the divinity of Christ throughout scripture. I don't rely on others telling me this, I read it myself. Like Firecharger, I don't need to "research" the inner workings of Greco-Roman culture to understand the truth of Christ's deity. Christ Himself proclaimed His deity, and I believe Him.

But the truth is undeniable, and the peace I've experienced since I've come to know that truth is unlike anything I've ever experienced. God reaches out to you every day. I did a study on enoch a while back and there are some biblical inaccuracies in it. Quite a few actually. Things that do not line up with the rest of God's word. So that is why most people do not regard it as true scripture.

It's based on when the sliver of the moon is sighted, not by a man-made calendar. The calendar is only an estimate of when it will be.
The true start time is by the sighting of the moon. It's a 2 day festival, so the last trump should be expected possibly tuesday morning?
It's a POSSIBILITY.

Astrology is Lucifer's perversion of God's original intent and purpose of the stars. It even says in the book of Enoch (a book not included in the bible, yet it explains the reason for the flood, etc.)
The fallen angels from Genesis 6 taught astrology to man (according to the book of Enoch.)

Yes, I've heard a lot of teaching on it, and read parts online. I think you may be right, I won't have time now to read it! lol This has been on my spirit for some time, that the rapture is close. I really feel closer to His coming each day, and have such a tremendous longing to see our King!

So im new with the concept of rapture, but if im correct its the beginning of the coming of christ, and all true christians will be take to heaven in a blink of an eye and the a peroid of 7 years will come, so what happens to the people that stay behind, are the doomed or can they repent or something?

People who are left behind still have hope of salvation John 3:16 For god so loved the world that he gave his only begotton son and whoso ever shall beleive him shall everlasting life, During the 7 Years there will be non-beleivers and a lot mroe people getting saved, And suffer trials but the Rapture is afterward thing everyone has to get tested. If ther is a pre trib it will be Jews and children get raptured, and the reason why the Jews is because Jesus is the King Of Jews they are te chosen

However, as the decades passed, and I did research in the greco roman age, I realized I could no longer live by faith, I needed evidence but "it simply wasn't their" I realized I was living in a fantasy world(christianity)and couldn't keep fooling myself! I don't expect you to be reasonable and research for yourself, reason may come to you as you age, time will tell! I can tell u jesus is still missing after 2,000+ years!

I believe that those left behind after the rapture can, and many will, repent and trust Christ as savior. Many of those that trust Christ during the Tribulation will be martyred. Those that don't trust Christ will be denied entrance to Christ's Millenial Kingdom and will be cast into the Lake of Fire. Those that die during the Tribulation as non-believers will be resurrected at the final judgment and then cast into the Lake of Fire.

yes. remember that this feast is 48 hours and the "last trump" occurs at the end of the feast.

the moon will be sighted and Rosh Hashana will be...and sadly..you will still be here. Those waiting on the rapture will find themselves in the tribulation like everyone else, then and only then will you have to look into yourself and find your true faith..

True....sadly, one of the brothers up there in the comments referred to us naysayers as "tares." How sad. All it takes is a fair-minded, objective prayerful approach to the scriptures to know that the rapture occurs after the tribulation. Not my words -- Jesus' Words. Unfortunately, many of those who expect to be raptured prematurely, are the same ones who will fall away, feeling let down and foresaken. These are the tares -- not we, who are prepared by the truth of God's Word, for testing.

For you to say that pre-trib christians are the "Tares" is absurd. Pre-trib leanings or not, I am a spirit filled child of God, not some week kneed part-time believer! If "Thee" Tribulation starts tomorrow then I'm ready for it. I've had lots of tribulation in my life as many others have, we are already battle tested and spiritual warriors for Christ! Your thinking is in error and you underestimate God's people who are led by the Holy Spirit and the Word!

Desertdoggz--I wrote "some." I was referring to another poster who assumes that all post-tribbers are tares. I am in fellowship with many pre-tribbers who are true converts & I don't assume that they are tares, nor did I state so. Glad to hear that you are prepared. Truthfully, sometimes I am afraid--I've read Foxe's Book of Martyrs and I wonder if I'll die as well as they did. Then I remember that though I'm weak, it's God Himself that gives us strength & grace, that He may be glorified.

Sorry -- actually, I wrote "many." The Word of God says the road is narrow and there are few that will be saved (paraphrasing), so it stands to reason that many will fall away. Remember that a great falling away is also prophesied. To be fair, many includes falsely converted post-tribbers, too. Those of us who are true converts will persevere through Christ who strengthens us regardless of our eschatological views. My apologies for misquoting my own comments! God bless~!

Friend, There will be no rapture. It's not a biblical principle of either Hebrew Scriptures or the Christian Scriptures. If there is going to be a "Tribulation", it will have all involved. You do not get a free pass out of this. G-d test his beloved (Deut. 13). If there is going to be a test, your going to be tested once you realize that there is no rapture and a "falling away" will happen. You've been warned.

I love my brethren in Christ, and Firecharger among them, but pre-trib is just not scriptural. We need to prepare for tribulation -- spiritually & emotionally. We need to remain strong in the faith & reach out to the lost. We cannot be waiting to be whisked into the clouds when that's not what/how Jesus said would come to pass. I pray my brethren would reconsider their eschatology and search the scriptures; that they would prepare for the greatest period of testing the world has ever known.
