  • I dont know what to say , ive been wanting to be a flight attendant for a while now and havent been able to get through ...but cant loose hopes now after comming so far ...after watching this video all i can say is i want to be a part of the crew too , and i will ..:D

  • wonder why they can't recruit women from their own country

they will probably have to remove the burka otherwise no one would fly with them

  • @aalexis3 theres always someone that ruins it, that person is you, keep your thoughts to your self because no one cares what you think.

  • another that didnt even speak proper english ??!! They tell you before you get rejected that its company policy that they can not tell you why u were rejected because im sure they dont even know...another point that pissed me off the people interviewing you are as friendly as a guy you just stole something from whats with that. Wost than this...only the interview i went to that they were more curious about my party life then skills...ish. Might not deserve the job...but their interview messed up

  • I went for the interview yesterday and c'mon emirates may be an awesome airline no doudt but the way they select you is f..... up lool some people that got to last part pf interview had told me that just applied for emirates just out of fun and not only that they give you group activities which you have to dabate on a subject...this guy didnt even let you speak or lissen to otheres opinion no doudt he will make a fine cabin crew. On top of that he was like in his 30s what the f....+

  • OU YOU HAVE TO KNOW ARABIC ?!

  • can somone pls tell me the requirements needed for becoming a pilot for emirates

  • @grayham30 u hav to be 21 bt u cn apply wen ur 20 if ur b-day is jst less dan 4 dys 2 go or els dey will widraw ur app.

  • @irishkc93 I also think that you should ad that ones needs to consider women as second class citizens, and be oppressive to them as much as possible. Now if you can also stone one during the interview because her burka was not adequate covering her, I am sure you will get the job on the spot.

  • Amazing english.

some russian airlines could learn something from this :S

  • This makes it look amazing :) In a matter of years i'll be applying to be a f/a :D I've already been reaserching a good year, Emirates seems like it would be in the top 5 if not 3, if anybody here is from england and works for emirates id love to have a chat about how you found it? :) x

  • yes with my experince in the Skies I liked this,Emirates continues to impressed me.But darlings like any other job ,theres a dwnfall,ITS EXPECTED

  • I'm a former flight attendant and cabin crew instructor. Good luck to all new recruits enjoy flying..it truly is the BEST job around.

Personally I never got bored of flying every new day was a new 'adventure' still think of my flying days.( I'm stiil in the aviation industry).

If one hasn't tried out this particular line of job they do not know what they're missing.Just being in the air is enough said.

To all Flight Attendants and cockpit crew God be with you all. Safe landings.

  • @nikbunnymen I really want to be a flight attendent and now I try my best to prepare for that. After reading your comments I feel so sure that it is worthwhile what I am doing. Thank you so much. ^0^ By the way, can you give me some advices to be a flight attendent?

  • Do they hire gays? Due to the arabic culture and everything...

  • Im 14 and i want to work for Qatar Airways but i heard that there not a ver nice company to work for so then i was thinking Etihad Or Emirates do you have to speak Arabic?

  • @thanman926 NO haha just English and another of any language can be an advantage, emirates is an international airline with crew from all different corners of the earth!! :)

  • i want to sign up.i dont know how to plzzzz before its late.....plzzzz

  • Peacelover and Lilo5039,both of you are right:) greeting from Emirates.

p.s. watched this video 2years bahind. it feels still like yasterday. tough job.a lot of stress, high life expectations and really really lonely private life. well, not so lonely but for something serious, woman must to be on ground job. so,if you decide to be part of this job and to have family,do it but not both of partners,it s not good:(

  • thanks for uploading this video i fond it very informative! i have one question to ask if you can answer me. do applicants need to know arabic before they apply? thanks

  • The best airline ever i fly with them all the time

  • Hey youtubers, i just wanted to ask everyone watching this a question. On putting your application in do you have to be 21 years of age? i know that you have to be 21 upon joining but can you be say 20 when applying and then go out to dubai when you turn 21???

    Thanks guys!!

  • @grayham30

You need to 21 when you apply

  • I doubt they hire gays.

  • I like the part about crew staying in their apartments in the evenings! Most crew prefer going out to Zinc rather than staying at home!

Some of the apartment buildings are really nice and central while others are old or in remote locations. I know many crew who ended up close to Sharjah and hate it.

Being crew is great but there is a backside to it, especially Indian turnarounds and double sector flights!

  • i love emirates airline..! I wanna join to be one of their crew......

  • amazing.....love 2 b a part of emirates sn....

  • i want to apply for a cabin crew but im just 5'2ft.. im a qualified?

  • @jo041987 i think that the requirement is 212 cm when standing on tip toes!!

  • i so wanna work for emirates ,pliz can u tell me how can i be succesful,

how to boost my resume and how to take a picture?

    THANK U A LOT

  • cabin crew is my dream job! but i have a tattoo, is that allowed? thx xx

  • @jejeremy03 no

  • @jejeremy03 as long as it's not visible when you're wearing the uniform

  • @jejeremy03 As long as it's not showing then that's fine

  • I would be so hounored to work for emirates. its practically the only airline left where flying is glamourous!

  • i wish me too , I start my first step my dream to work there

  • Olá, sil1234, és brasileiro, certo? É que hoje fui à entrevista aqui em Portugal e fui excluído logo de inicio. Que tipo de critérios é que eles usam na selecção? Porque é que escolhem um candidato e não o outro?

  • You guys i am 11 years old and i have always wanted to be a flight attendant al my life but can you tell me what age you have to be to be one and of corse i want to work for Emirates

  • @dgtfrsff 21 on joining so you can apply earlier!! :)

  • the first woman is south african, u can so tell by her accent :D

  • lol the new traniee has a yugoslav pasport :D

    (have one of those myself)

  • i love the ladies who work as cabin crew `~ oh they are so HOT ~

  • I am training too

  • want to train myself as a qualified cabin crew. confident of personal attributes of a cabin crew, how do i apply for a job. just appeared for my final school (secondary) exams. anybody there to help me please ?RAUNAK.

  • this video is very informative, 4 d FA wanna be's i am in d avaition industry @ its a really nasty peice of work...meaning if u dont stand for what u b leave in or stand up 4 d rules u can b bat down by d negatives...avaition is a lot of stress & long hours you really have 2 b prepared or just love avation like myself to work for long periods whether its a FA or a groung staff....

  • @lilo5039 so true. if u don't really stand for it, it can get to u. u aren't always treated the way u deserve it, be it customers or collegues. plus, it's a physical challenge. people tend to underestimate it. even loving it from the heart, like i do, can leave u exhausted because u go great lenghts to satisfy everyone which is impossible.

  • inspiring

  • This looks very glamorous on the serface, but compromising your sleeping schedule can lead to very serious health problems in later years.

  • ralley ralley ralley ralley ralley want to be a flight attendant

  • i got the looks the height can flow and i want to be a cabin crew .i love this job.can some one help me

  • Ask them what they do with obese bastards who are that fat they can't sit in their own seat with the armrest lowered but have to sit on part of mine for 6 and a half hours?

  • @thaitanium12 most airlines require the passenger to buy an extra seat at a discount.

  • @FlightCrewWannaBe Well Emirates refuse point blank to guarantee economy(cattle class) passengers all of the seat they have paid for if you don't believe me ask them yourself. as for customer service forget it they are rude ignorant and have more or less told me to fuck off they also used to ask 75 pounds to change the date of the return ticket this time 432 pounds I realise that they along with their parent company are bankrupt all I can say is good

  • i like the girl who was jumping, cute!

  • and sanjay sometimes you will get a caller whos very very angry....

  • It's not a lot, but considering you won't have housing expenses, nor transportation, etc. (virtually everything is paid by Emirates) in the end it is rather good. Also, it's not difficult to get promoted, raising your salary as well. Are you going to Dubai?

  • $ 3,000/month (initial).

  • im still not workin, but is that a lot?

  • hi i like to know how much many can you win in a moth? thanks

  • about 2000$

  • Hi peaceloverer! I gather you are a member of Emirates CC?? I recently applied for a position - what is the average time frame for a reply (they state within 3 months)...it's been 3 weeks. Being overly eager!! I thought that by speaking 3 languages fluently and 12 years customer service they may be a little quicker in their reply to..any advise would be greatly appreciated! Should I try and contact them myself?? I submitted my application, photos and cv on line, is there anything else I can do??

  • maybe your age and height didnt fit their qualifications....

  • This reply is for futureCC. I am not an emirates CC member, but I have done a lot of research and I can answer some of ur "?"s. Your spoken and written english have to be equal or near to that of a native speaker, the interview consists of several stages, I understand recruitment is "frozen" for the time being, and it is hard to land this job as it is an exclusive airline and there physical, mental and health requirements that you need to pass.

  • Don't they have any cabin crew from Emirates at all.

  • of course I meant experience in customer service.

Tell me if most of flight attendants worked earlier in other airlines?

  • Hello there!!! I'm from Poland and I'm 20 but i know I can try from 21 years. I don't have any experience. They need 2 years, yap? what about interview? how does it look like? is it hard to get through and get the job? do you like work for Emirates?:) How many flight attendants are there from Poland?

On which level English should be? not perfect?

  • i am 155 cm could i get a job there?

  • @Angelina4567 no way with 155 cm. sorry

  • @TheLogicalHeart

btw im 1m 60 now lol when i wrote that comment i was only 1m55

    :P

  • wow this is such an interesting and amazing airline! I do have a question and I hope it doesnt sound ignorant, but I have read that if you work for emirates you have to open a bank account in dubai b.c the money is put there...however i also read somewhere that you need to notify the bank by fax if you want to take your money out, is that true?

  • opening a bank account in dubai wud be quite essential... i'm no airline expert.. but i know tht even for other jobs in dubai... the money comes into the dubai bank account...

  • I really want to join emirates it's my dream. I was wondering, can I apply to emirates becaues I live in Canada, would I apply online through their website? plus if I get an interiew (I hope I do) would I have to go there for the interview?

Thanks sooooooooo much for anyone who replies :))

btw thank you soo much for posting this vid lovee it.

Plus everyone in emirates is soo gorgeous and beautiful :))))

  • U're cute!! Of course, u can apply living in Canada. The process starts by their website - emiratesgroupcareers com.

They (should) have open days and/or interviews in most countries. And since we fly to Canada, they are likely to conduct it there as well. But just check for that.

Omg that's exciting, go for it and gooood luck!! Keep us updated! ^^

  • Hi! You seem to know a lot about flight attendants. Are with the business? I would love to become one... Do you need to speak a second language? I'm from Australia by the way. Let me know if there are any odd requirements. =) Thanks.

  • Hey!! Just know by experience, and, before I joined I compared many airlines and also checked out the job profile and some key words in wikipedia :) ->Recommended, so you get an idea.

Being native speaker, you're lucky, no need for any other language. But of course, it could be an asset. For requirements just check their webbie.

I actually thought I could barely fullfill them, but it's not that tough. Btw, we have many Aussies here ;) So go for it!

  • Hi. Thanks so much for your help. I will defineitely look into it in the future. I'm majoring in Japanese and Spanish at University next year so hopefully if I decide to move into the airline business that will give me more opportunities.

  • Thank you so much for your reply, your sooo nice and sweet :))) Thank you for the website I will def keep checking it :) I hope they have interviews soon I'm soo excited :))) thank you so much for your help and your reply your soooo nice :))))) I will def keep you updated :))

  • hi,, how did u go on with interview's?? did u get accepted?

  • hi, no still didn't have my interview yet :((( hope I have one soon and I really want to get accepted :))

  • hi, ok... well tell me how it goes..... because i really want to become a flight attendant.....

  • for sure I'll tell you how it went, sorry for my late reply.

  • oh ok i live in canada so hope thats true

  • Comment removed

  • @peaceloverer I'm glad to you! My english is not perfect, because I never made a language course,I learn for myself without teacher,so,I have problems to say and write the propper english, but I think I can talk everything. In my situation,I need to train more for enter? Congratulations!!!!

  • @Walisgton it's hard to judge. in fact, u need to understand a lot and in the beginning it can be overwhelming. but: learning by doing.. anyways, all my respect to u for teaching urself! give it a try ;)

  • @peaceloverer I agree my friend thanks a lot for sharing information and gave me this message, now in july 25 a selective process will be open,I don't have nothing to loose,if everything goes wrong for me there,I'll get more experience for try again; It's very hard for understand when people speak very fast,in my observation, people from foreing countries who dont have english like oficial language, speaks more slowly, but americans, britains, australians is very hard for translate.

  • heey!! I'm getting my EK interview in october, I hope I can say the same in a while! it's my dream to join emirates!

  • Yes, I know that. I have been to DXB numerous times.

And I guess people who are from third world countries are more in awe of it (Dubai) then someone like me who splits his time living in NYC and Chicago. :-)

  • @KissingBoyZ someone like you? and who the fuck are you? u have to work ur ass quite hard to earn ur living American boy, wake up!!

  • @TheLogicalHeart Who am I? Who are you?

  • Hi!I would aprisiate very much if someone can or want to help me about cabin crew test, on a open days in the Emirates airelaines recruiments. How hight level of english knowledge they want?Is there possibility to present me some ecc, questions from test? Please!

  • hi i want to know what is the height requirement for cabin crews? tnx

  • minimum 158 cm

  • Hey asvinking, I wanted to become a flight attendant for Emirates too, but I was 2cms off the height requirement : ( But I was perfect for everything else : ( I am sure you can imagine my dissappointment in discovering that! I hope you try again and get in!

  • saw in this site cabincrewrecruitment . net have this 16pf test. Are they same as you had taken?

  • Damn!! Im so dissapointed, i fail the last step of the Emirates cabin crew interview. We were only 23 candidates left after massive selection. Out of these 23 they eliminate 10 candidates again, i was among them. What a cruel life! :( Good luck to future candidates.

  • Don't worry. you can try again next year.

  • Hi asvinking, is there maths on the test? and what kind? And Im so sorry you missed out on the final stage. Dw its not your last chance. Even try Etihad or Qatar airways, Cya

Hi im 25 years old, married with 1 son(7 mos old)but i still look like single i mean still sexy didnt gain weight. can i still apply as a cabin crew with Emirates Airline even i am already married?

  • You will have to be willing to relocate in Dubai and be able to work away from home, for a very long time and work during holidays if need be.

  • Im so much willing and aware about the great responsibilies of being a cabin crew because i work in one of the hotel in Dubai...and im ready:)we are living in Dubai. So its possible even i am married? thanks in a million..

  • Yes, it's possible. Especially that you are working at a hotel, great asset because of the customer service enhancement you've already acquired.

  • Thank you very much. Sorry, i worked before for two years. Btw are you working as a cabin crew in Emirates Airline?

  • no, I'm not a cabin crew, but I've done all the research required, as I want to become a flight attendant too. :)

    Cheers. Good Luck!

  • can someone tell me how is the apartment that Emriates gives you?

  • can someone from the air crew tell me more about the job? thanks

  • Stunning, did you say? It looks like what you use to wipe your A*& when you run out of toilet papers. hahhahhahaha

  • the lass at 4.57 is gorgeous

  • hi! I need some help to make a perfect English CV, because I'd like to work as a flight attendant in the Emirates. Who could help me? Please...

  • im a senior cabin crew for quatar airways,,,,,

    for the last 12 years,,,,,

i do this job just for the money ,,,is just watress on air,,,,if i had to chooose job,,,i prefere to be a pasenger .also,,,due to the cabin presure we get old ,,,,,,

  • gosh.. i wanna apply for emirates, but i m 20 this year.. cheyyy..

  • Qatar Airways over works their crew. I used to know someone who worked for them, and they made her fly twice as many flights than what she's payed for. So she quit. Qatar Airways suffers because they don't have enough crew to work for them. She joined Emirates.

  • thats right shikin11 u tell them im gunna apply for emirates as well but im one yr too young hopefully next yr plus i get a chance to build my resume.

  • Emriates are excellent people to work for if you are part of there cabin crew. Best wage around apart from Qatar airways. However i would rather live in Dubai then Doha.

  • hopefully I'm going to join this company..

  • Emirates curerntly employs over 35,000 people. And they expect this figure to double within the next 5 years.

  • my cousin is a pilot of Emirates!!

  • wow there uniform

  • express747 am nt a gay 4 sure..........but i see ur so bothered abt spriggan83 so u guys do sound like gays

  • I would like to work to emirates as a check in agent. Can any one tell me how I can do that?

  • i wana be a cabin crew for emirates.wt shld i do? wt is the 1st step? sm1 pls help me..

  • Apply for EK, is the first step. Make sure your CV is excellent and provide as much info about yourself if possible. Submit it and wait. EK should get back to you within a week or so. Then you will meet your batch and train!

  • i want to work for them

  • Thanks for the video, I´ll do a open day next week and it help to know more things about this company

  • yes we do fly to over 100 destinations but we do not have 11,900 crew... well not yet at least...

  • And what happens after the three years? Seriously, do you offer your crew jobs as supervisors or ground staff? This is very important, as I presume labor laws in UAE do not allow you to keep flying into your 50s.

  • Hello Emirates crew can anyone email me to chat and give me insight on the company I applied last year and got an email today inviting me to the open session in NYC. Please message me privately with email address and I will reply please help me out. Fly safely and thanks for your time.

  • JCFLB717 you got a reply after a year? WOA

  • love the ICE entertainment system, wicked!!

  • Emirates gave me a snakc box with gummys! Lol, and a tooth brush!

  • i cant wait for to get the job in this Airline unfortunatley i am getting training with JET2. hey anybody know JET2 is going to start flight from Leeds Bradford International Airport to Sharm-el-Sheikh (Egppt) and also to New York?

  • What is this music?

  • this video is very false especially with the accomodation you get, i was put into a little apartment which mini kitchen and a shower and a bed in one room

  • Ok cool. Thanks Mohammed for the reply. Take it easy and stay safe.

  • So cabin crew jobs are flight attendents then?

  • yup

  • flying mama thats all part of the job n if ur so weak to push a cart or sumthin then at least u can wash toilets @ the airport or are u weak for that 2?????

  • Cooldude Go get yourself educated before you open your mouth and make yourself look like a fool on the world wide web!

  • @flyingmama HAHa you telling me to get educated???. Firstly take me on with some facts you dipshit. Oh but wait...how would you know about any of the facts??? because all you can say is what you've done about others so now quit making a fool of yourself by calling me a fool and take a hike.

  • does the narrator of this video do the Emirates Safety videos, I was on EK40 EGBB - OMDB last year and he sounds like the person off the safty video

  • Yes he is!

  • i did the cabin crew interview and im waiting..

do i have oportunity to get the job???

    im realy exited

  • Sorry typo, I mean " my colleagues".

  • Some of my collgues quit because they found out the job wasn't what they had in mind. So I encourage the wannabes to get more realistic about it and ask questions.

I have to say though, this is a great job for the family (I live in the US where the requirements are not discriminatory, I can raise a family while working ). My daughter has more opportunities to see the world and learn about different cultures, I get to be a housewife when I am not flying, I get to have my own time while working.

  • This video certainly made the job look glamourous! I've been flying for 15 years and I haven't found the glamour yet!

The ugly side of the job is you have to serve people and pick up trash, clean up after a mess, deal with problems with a smile sometimes in an aggresive and angry situations, you have to keep cool even you are screaming murder inside, your body is so messed-up that you can't sleep at night or wake up in the morning, you get injured in turbulence or by pushing 250 lbs carts,

  • I used to be a fl
