  • Turkish is an Altaic (Central Asia) language and belongs to the Ural&Altai language family. Some Turkic Languages are Turkish, Kazakh, Uzbek, Kirgis, Azerbaycan languages. And Mongolic, Tungusic, Japanese, Korean, Hungarian, Finnish and Native American Languages are relatives of Turk Languages

  • @muratti05

This is very interesting. I never knew that. Where can I read more about it?

  • @muratti05

Thank you man, I will do a lot of research for this on my own. I find it very fascinating.

  • Türkçe güzel bir dildir, ama kolay değil =Turkish is a beautiful language, but it's not easy. Here are some conjugations of the verb 'Gelmek' = which means 'To come'. Örneğin =(For example) geliyorum = I am coming. geliyorsun = you are coming. geliyor = he/she/it/ is coming. geliyoruz = we are coming. geliyorsunuz (plural+polite form) geliyorlar = they are coming. Türkçe örnek cümleler = Turkish example sentences. geliyor muyum? = am I coming?, geliyor musun? = are you coming?

  • @yemenirose1 Turkish is absolutely not difficult, it is very easy to learn as a foreign language because it is very regular and logical. On the other hand there is in Turkish no articles which make the languages more difficult to speak as a foreigner. The foreign students in Turkey can learn Turkish in 3 Months in an intensive course (3 hours a day). I learned German, I study in Germany. German Language is the most difficult language on earth boooaaah

  • she's soooo cute !

  • okay its so hard lol!!

  • too fast

  • I just wonder why some description is in Germand and most is in English :o

  • she has a german turkish accent, but i guess it won't be noticeable to beginners

  • Ich finde das Video gut und ich hoffe es wird mir bei meinem Türkei Urlaub helfen. Das einzige, was zu kritisieren wäre, ist, dass bei 2:53 nicht "how much?", sondern "wie viele?" steht. :D Und 2:55 ist auch deutsch. ;)

  • @Katil60

Dear People, thank you for your interest. This video was made within a Literature Workshop on a German High School. The girl was born in Germany. Her parents are Turks. I know that she has an accent but I was told that the language video is absolutely sufficient for tourist who want to learn some of those important sentences before visiting Turkey.

I don't understand Turkish and so I have to delete all comments written in Turkish because I can't control it. I'm very about that.

  • @magauchsein it´s not the biggest problem. i´m from germany too. Sorry my Enlish isn´t well... :)

no turk speeks so slow but i think its really good for understanding and for tourists

  • @TheTurkishJanitzary she speaks slow for the listeners, so that they can keep up with her.

  • Sweet Girl

  • I don't want to be rude but she has a funny accent.

Although she might be a "native" speaker, apparently she lived way too long in Germany because she pronounces some things like German and stresses many words as if they were German.

  • IT IS VERY INTERESTIG AND USEFULL FOR BEGINERS. TURKS HAVE SO MUCH COMMON WITH OTHERS BALKANIANS AND IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE IN THE FUTHER THIS GIRL TRANSLATED IN LEVANTIN FRENCH/ITALIAN AND OTHER BALKANIAN LANGUAGES. anladim cok pek turkce . serbistadan geliyorum.

  • very very good, thank you, i learned alot, she is really beautiful.

  • lol. this girl sounds like a foreigner who just learned turkish. Far from being a native speaker.

There is a typical dialect for Germany-Turks and she sounds exactly like them. If you come to Turkey in the summer time, you cane xperience that dialect otherwise in the rest of the year you can not hear this dialect in Turkey.

  • it's to hard for me... (

  • TOO FAST!! SLOW DOWN!!

  • that girl has weird turkish accent but thanks anyway, no offence :D

  • nice woman, beautiful language. I wrote it first in turkish, but you don´t want it.

  • Ohh, Turkish women are exquisite! They never fail to impress. Even if they try to be modest, their beauty just shines.

I'm engaged to one, I hope she doesn't catch this, but it's true! I highly recommend Turkish women! I hope to say the same some years into marriage... oh well, the cooking and cleaning and beauty is terrific, all else should fall into place, right?

  • i dont agree as a turkish guy:)

  • @alporhun

    me too:)

  • Wooow... Turkish women are exquisite! Never fail to impress. Ahh, I'm engaged to one, I hope she doesn't read this, but it's true! I highly recommend Turkish women! It's worth learning this challenging language!!!

  • Great =) she is beautiful too =)

    you speak to faaast :(

  • duuuuuudeeeee its going waaaaay to fast!!!! haha whos supost to learn something out of that??

  • "Pardon" isn't turkish, and those who use it sound too much ike "westernish" I don't like them and the word for that is "af edersiniz" or "özür dilerim" the last one is for contemplating a mistake just committed.

  • nice video but i think she doesnt live in Turkey because her Turkish language little bad :D

  • her Turkish is beautiful - your manners are a little bad :)

  • i just say her Turkish language little bad. is it mean i got little bad manners ? this video is good for teaching Turkish :D

  • funny:)

  • really :O ?

  • @orhanmelihmutlu

ur english is quite awful dude ;) nevertheless, keep it up!

  • @orhanmelihmutlu her turkish is much better than the english of most turks^^

  • She has Central or Eastern Anatolian country side accent. She does not have cosmopolitan Istanbuler accent, which is THE standard accent

  • great! i love this video! ^^ tesekkur ederim

  • She must be living in Germany. She has accent.... Not pure Istanbul Turkish... But good video...

  • :) Turkish language has a lot of Arabic

    words :)

  • yes that's right!

  • my opinion like almost all "The Best of..." they say too fast, not good diction longer apuse and other stuff, good idea work on this :)

  • There is this beautiful Turkish song on Youtube. I would be very greatful if anyone has any information about it .You'll find it if you search for Colin FFirth (yes it was spelled with dobble F).

  • I'm trying to get it.

  • go to our site: solarnet (dot) tv and there to the Turkish Language Forum, there one of the first topics will be one with the name of Colin FFirth. There you'll find the original text and the translation.

  • Here a sample:

    Sakın ağlama,

    tanıdık yalnızlık,

    evvel allah, tanıştık evvelden

    Kokunu bırakma, çok sevdim kokunu,

    bilemezsin,

    götür kokunu

    Bebeğim

  • Don't cry

    familiar loneliness

with God's help, we met eachother aforetime

don't leave your scent, i loved your scent so so much

    you cant know,

    take away your scent

    My baby

  • Thank you so much, you made my day! Now that I know what it means, I find the song even more beautiful!

  • ne teyusun egiz, niye istmiyisn

  • Excellent video!! Perfect for people trying to learn turkish and being in a very beginning level, like me! Thank you!

  • God, Turkish women are gorgeous!

  • Lavabo is sink/toilet in French and Spanish. There are a couple of mistakes in the translation (German instead of English):Wie viel=how much, wie lang=how long/tall

  • Seni severim lol! This is soo much easier than Arabic! I might just try to learn this language!

  • Thank you for this video. I am from Iran and always wanted to learn some Turkish. This is a great help. Appreciate this very much.

  • Some of the Turkish words are borrowed from Arabic language, such as, Merhaba, lütfen, tesşekkür, Efendim, Ihtiyacim, Elbette, Zaman, Fikrim, Tamam, Hesap, Tebrikler.

    I think I'll learn Turkish.
