@leeroysilk That's true he never sang eye of the tiger that well, but Dave Bickler never came close to singing as well as Jimi did period. Dave doesn't even hold a candle to the studio recordings that followed his departure from the studio...Just open your ears and listen to the originals of I Can't Hold Back, and everything else that has Jimi's voice on it. His voice didn't hold up as well as Daves, but he actually has been using his through the years too..

@thisux7x7 I have Jimi´s solo album from the early 90th and he sounds sore and forced all through it. He sang more on the capitol then on the interest, but what a capitol it was! Dave Bickler had half of the testosterone that Jimi had. Vital Signs (1984) and When Seconds Count (1986) are two of the best AOR records ever!

@leeroysilk Part true; the original Eye of the Tiger fits Dave better, but Dave could never have the body and depth to his voice to go in the studio and record "I can;t Hold back" or any of the multitude of hits that Survivor has had...Eye of the Tiger and Poor man's son are the only good tunes Dave did. Jimi's voice in it;s prime was the best all around ever, and not even Steve Perry could touch it...
