  • With their acceptance of many former BNP members, the English Democrats have lurched to the right and therefore made themselves unelectable.

  • @4libertarianism Interestingly Chris Beverley, a former BNP member, now member of the English Democrats, still works for Andrew Brons, the BNP Member of European Parliament for Yorkshire. I got a feeling the English Democrats is becoming a temporary haven for BNP members disillusioned by Nick Griffin. If Nick Griffin had lost his leadership election, then I got a feeling most of those former BNP members in the English Democrats would go back to the BNP !!!

  • @4libertarianism

That's really too bad. The idea of devolution in England seems perfectly reasonable to me.

  • I'm a Scottish Nationalist that wants complete 100% full independence from the UK Government. As surprising as it seems, i also support 100% the exact same for England. A lot of English people think Scots Nats are braveheart fanatics that hate England. We don't ! Really ! But we do hate the Unionist British Government which is made up Scots, English, Welsh, NI MP's. We want Scotland AND England to be what they should have always been - Friendly neighbours and allies but NOT in a political union!

  • english***

  • you should give mel gibson a call and get an eglish version of braveheart lol it worked for us

  • i hate how us English are never recognised yet we are the glue that holds this fucking island together!

  • @pickyantivirus very true

  • lol its been a month and no one has answered my question

  • @WatchingEngland I guess nobody knows the answer. However if England became independent from Britain, then theoretically they could leave the EU. Chances of that happening is the equilivent of David Cameron becoming a Lib Dem member !!!!

  • @theworldvideos1 true but would england be in the eu if that happened ?

  • @WatchingEngland I guess they would have to apply for EU membership. Because if for example Scotland became independent, EU membership wouldn't extend to them, unless they apply for it. Its a bit like someone leaving their parents home and moving into somewhere else, that does not mean they get the same privileges which they used to get when they were living with their parents !!!

  • @theworldvideos1 or not in the case of england and im not a nationalist i look at the hull of britain as my country

  • @WatchingEngland

That is the wrong way to look at it, if you live in England that is where the focus is. Britain isn't a nation, and Island only. No matter how history would put it.

  • @theworldvideos1 If Scotland became independant then the former UK would also have to re-apply.

  • how can england leave the eu only britain can leave the eu

  • The idea of the house of commons to be reformed to be the English parliament and house of lord to be made for the hole of UK :)
