@wowthink If you ever heard the original recording, it is written for two guitars. However, he's playing guitar by himself. He ended up learning how to use a looping station live to make up for the lack of a second guitar player that takes over harmonies and background harmonies / leads.

Never have been able to listen to much Nu Metal, though I comprehend the point in which you are stating.

But what more vocal styles are their aside from Metalcore, Deathcore & Cleans? Deathcore branches from Black Metal to Brutal Death Metal, Metalcore with the mids, and Clean for any style of singing.

But if you are looking for variety within styles of vocals I would suggest Into Eternity or The Agonist.

I know its your opinion but I disagree in every way. Clean vocals over this would sound horrid and metalcore just simply wouldn't work (as After the Burial has proven) and vocals are a great thing to throw atop the otherwise inane chugging that sometimes finds its way into a song, thus rendering instrumental out of the mix.

The DeathCORE vocals in which they bring not only fit the music perfectly (considering they are a Technical Deathcore band) but they are some of the genres best

i get your point, i just dont like deathcore vocals, i find them boring, i like growls/screams and stuff, but not for a whole song, or a whole album etc. there are so many vocal techniques to choose from, there is not only clean&metalcore.. bah (btw my fav singers are Jon Davis, Burton C Bell, Chino Moreno, Mike Patton, Serj Tankian, Max Cavalera, Robb Flynn etc. so by this you could know what i mean)
