you know, most cops usually only pull out their gun once with the intent to protect themselves or take out an assailant... if they have the right to protect themselves for that 1% chance something might happen why doesn't the average law abiding citizen ? People who say that they will call 911 if someone is attacking them is just plain stupid. You don't have the time to talk on the phone when something happens like that. You can run but who's to say they wont chase you ? get real people.

It doesn't allow you to carry everywhere to go. This sheriff is an idiot. You have a right to carry a gun for self defense, period!
