  • Goosebumps !

  • FUCK YOU FREE CURSOR ADDS!!!

  • FUCK YOU FREE CURSOR ADDS!!!

  • I recall this song when I was 12. It was on the radio every morning when I woke up for school. It was like the movie "Groundhog Day". Great song!

  • A profound song...this guy definitely understands what it is like to have insomnia...

  • muito boa musica :) adoreiii.

  • i remember hearing this song for the first time in the hospital in july of 1983. i had just broken my neck and was paralyzed from the chest down...it was the result of "diving in too deep"...i would lie awake at night in a room with 5 other men wondering what would become of me. praise God he allowed me to recover and walk out of there. the "i cant get to sleep/worried bout the complications" really moved me then and now.

  • I LIKE THIS SONG

  • sing this song every freakin day

  • day after day it reappears....good stuff........i wish i could go back to those days

  • Comment removed

  • It's a beautiful song!

  • i remember grade school with my walkman and wearing out the hell of cassette tape with this song......bring back the oldies!!

  • I know many people dont like whats already good to be touched. BUT, I wish some songs, like a few from Men At Work, WOULD be remade/covered. It WOULD only bring back such GOOD freaking music. Maybe spotlight to some of these artists. It would only help in any possible way.

  • I'm from the 2000's era, i love this song...thanks dad.

  • My beautiful city...

  • scrubs brought me here!!!

  • Fantastic Colin Hay.

  • I remember coming home from school everyday watching MTV and listening to the latest 80's hit . Those were cool times, now MTV sucks! and most of the music when they play it sux too !

  • @davemustainee2 Mtv was so awesome back then. For us 80's kids, it was an important part of our generation. New music with videos, music news, nothing has ever been better. Mtv took a shit about 1987 when it started catering more to stupid shows and rap.

  • @Lesrevesdhiver I agree with you brother

  • This song is having a anxiety attack

  • Diese Art von Musik wird man niemals vergessen. Sie wird auch noch in der Zukunft uns erfreuen. Ich wünschte, die heutige Musik wäre auch so...

  • 80´s music its amazing and inimitable.

My time machine is almost finished.

  • amazing song

  • Man, this was around before I was even born. still today it rocks! that's true music!

  • Who cares what he looks like unless your listening to music through your eyes.

  • Great Song!!!

  • 226 people prefer underkill

  • Australian music is the best!!!

  • Does anyone find ironic that he is talking about being haunted by ghost and yet the song sounds so joyful. Ubisoft, answer my prayers and put this in Just Dance 4.

  • Sorry for people who think that Colin Hay doesn't sing well ..You guys don't judge good music with the shit in mind that you call music..Go watch Rihanna or shakira.. Even one thousand modern singers can't bring back the melody that you find in this song...Go home and lick your soup...

  • @kaarigan u r damn right men.Colin may not have the good look's like today singers and shit but he sure sing perfectly, lovely voice not to high or low.much luv for men @work and 80's band.my favorite song is; who can it be now n overkill

  • Colin Hay did the 'crazy eyes' better than anyone.

  • @Nexus974 Ever listen to Lady Gaga's song, "Born This Way?" Well, that's why he's got the eye thing down.

  • @Nexus974 he was born that way, don't talk shit bro.

  • @CoolConejo I thought he was just a good actor.

  • @Nexus974 lol ok

  • this rules, lazlo bane sucks!!

  • A group from the first days of MTV when music was still original and enjoyable, before the producers started their easy profit computerized junk and the beginning of the angry monkey rap era

  • As much as I love Overkill, there's another Overkill that's welcomed.

  • Men at Work rules!

  • Esta música relembra bons momentos da minha vida.Men at Work é demais!!!

  • One of my favs.........wow.......has 20-30 years gone by already?

  • Why does this song talk to me?

  • thier best song.

  • Hmm... March '83 I went to Parris Island for 3 months of fun.

  • I never know which eye I'm supposed to look at

  • @icandynetwork General rule of thumb is look at the the not crooked one.

  • @ckchappell I've found that those with a crooked gaze will face their "good" eye at you while talking to make it easier for you.

  • The 226 people who clicked dislike were saying they didnt like good music

  • is he speaking about drugs? xDDDDDD

    This song rocks.

  • saikou=最高!!

    Fromむ JAPAN!!

    GOOD!!=iiyo!!

  • love this song.... and love the scrubs version too

  • One of my all time favorites!!!

  • Now this is MUSIC, and that's coming from a 16 year old

  • People like Colin hay make me think that Australia would be an interesting place to visit. I feel a old colony feeling from them. I like Australia!

  • @jamesnewton777 he was born in scotland !but why not your right

  • me enanta esta cancion !!!!

  • The lyrics of the song are a bit sad, but I LOVE this theme. Brings me all the memories of my puberty and many good times.

  • why cant music be like this now days??? i mean why people like justin beiber exist?? they dont sing they use freaking computer to "fix and make sounds" im only 17 and the only music i listen to is the 80s! the best time of music!

  • @MyTheprofessional

I think the 70s beats the 80s a bit... since the 80s did have some groups that were horrible [truthfully some sounded terrible live], but i agree anything beats todays music from the 80s.

i even think the 90s beats todays music, which is pretty bad..

  • @Afireinside912 yeah thats true point is todays music suck ... early 90s 80s and 70s are the BEST

  • @MyTheprofessional i ask myself the same thing everyday :( fuck mainstream music

  • @MyTheprofessional man i feel for ya i was born in the wrong generation lol

  • @MyTheprofessional Theres nothing wrong with using a computer to produce music and alter voices and such...i love EDM but i do find it unfortunate that its gone mainstream. Now alll we get is half-assed tracks with even worse lyrics. And 80s & 90s were both AMAZING times for music. Now.......ehhh. They just dont make music like this no more.

  • @tonsoffun NO.......todays music has no ....whats it called...oh right REAL MUSIC

i mean i respect that u like it but .....*sigh* old music had feelings , love, passion, everything...

  • @MyTheprofessional Naw i agree with you dude. What i was saying is its ok to like dance/party music and such but the current state of EDM is TERRIBLE. But music like this just doesnt happen anymore. I kinda put it this way...all the new age shitty current pop music you hear over and over again is disposable to people. People like it now but a few years down the road they are gonna move on to the next big thing. Music like this on the other hand is just NOT replaceable.

  • @MyTheprofessional that´s remmarkable, but there´s also really good music on the 70´s and 90´s (i´m saying this because i also used to listen only 80´s music)

  • @MyTheprofessional You are really one track minded are you...?

    Expand to the 60's and 70's :P

  • @13Psycho13 im pretty sure almost everyone agrees that the 80s and early 90s were the best time of music....yeah of course theres the beatles and all those ....but they were the base of what became one of the most popular music time eras

  • @MyTheprofessional

Ok, I love the 80s too, but to be fair, a computer doesn't make a crappy singer sound good, it just make him/her a perfectly tuned crappy singer...

In this song Colin Hay is slightly out of tune in some parts, but his unique timbre and his passion makes him a great singer, even out of tune.

I don't listen to Justin Bieber and I bet he would have been signed in the 80's to a major label too.

Do you remember Milli Vanilli? 80's superstars, and THEY DIDN'T EVEN SING

  • @MyTheprofessional

What I'm trying to say is that singing in tune is just 30% of a great singer, the rest of it is: Timbre, dynamics, breath, passion.

When I listen to Tom Waits - Little drop of poison, for how it sounds I imagine him sitting in the toilet with headphones and a microphone, clenching his fits while taking a dump and pulling toilet paper.

  • @MyTheprofessional why can't people just bloody well enjoy it instead of complaining about modern music all the time!?! I'm 18 and I love some 80's and some modern music, but who cares about fucking bieber if you listen to gold 104.3 -- somehow i doubt he comes on very often. I love this song!! but it's kinda hard to enjoy it when people continually reference the corruption of music by the current generation!!

  • Try my radio station, CacaoRock

You are in the right age to listen to GOOD music. GOOD music, rock that is, started in 54 with Chuck Berry, Elvis and the other pioneers and died in 94 when Kurt Cobain shot himself. CacaoRock Online Radio covers that era.

  • @MyTheprofessional You want a fucking medal?

  • @AyeItsMike woaw relax dude.... and yes please ;)

  • @MyTheprofessional you might say he was going .....

    ....

    overkill.

  • @MyTheprofessional Spread the word.

  • @MyTheprofessional Because anytime there's too much foreign influence our powers that be break into cold sweat fearing whom will find them out as thieves on which side or both.

  • @MyTheprofessional what a crap comment; such a bunch of wanking whiners on utube! TONS of fresh new music out there!!! give my favorites a listen...might open your eyes

  • @rosskstar Don't know about your gripe with MyTheprofessional but keen for my eyes to be opened I'm checking out your channel.

Top of your list is: Sleep Party People - I'm not human at all.

I like it. Thankyou. But if someone said mix TISM with Bjork, this is kinda what I would envisage.

I think I'm going to enjoy my trip through your channel and your appreciations. But please appreciate the old saying of "everything old is new again".

I don't want to be patronising, but how old are you?

  • @naganokumas 47...and yes, all my friends on FB probably think i'm crazy as they only post old classic rock or 80's rehash. Revisiting the past is great but LIVE IN THE PRESENT.

  • @rosskstar

    Yeaaaaaaahhhh

  • @rosskstar Next, 'First Aid Kit - Emmylou (Live - SVT Klubbland)'. Very nice. Thankyou.

  • @rosskstar uuuuuhhhhhhh no.... you cannot compare todays music to 80s music... no freaking way...

  • Colin's got a big nose and crazy Columbo eyes, but I'd still slam his lap with my cookie so hard. And I felt that way when I was a teen too. He's all man. LOVE YOU COLIN Justin Bieber could learn so much.

  • OM MYY FUCKIN GOD new favourite tune thank fuck for scrubs

  • Japanese title is "ノックは夜中に"

  • @arukuma100 「ノックは夜中に」が邦題の曲は「Who Can It Be Now?」ですね

  • @ratamua I completely agree

  • 1:56...one the best, simple / effective / beautiful guitar solos ever....perfect compliment to the song / music...reminds me of James Honeyman Scott's solo in "Kid" by the Pretenders in that effect

  • This has always been my favorite Men At Work song, though I admit I love everything on their first two albums immensely and can sing, entirely, the first album front to back. Colin Hay has always had a great and unique voice.

So sad that the third album was somewhat forgettable.

Also, why the Scrubs hate? Scrubs was decent, and Colin's Overkill cameo on it was amazing. =) Acoustic Overkill while stalking JD, probably the best thing ever to happen to that show.

  • one my favs

  • Overkill a mi me gusta como.... no digo por que van a pensar que soy un pervertido

  • Just another reminder that music used to be interesting.

  • Why can't we back to 80's?

I hate the world these days.

  • Please to all the younger people... bring your 'top comment'' shit somewhere else. No one asked about scrubs.

    Thanks :).

  • WHY I WAS BORN IN THIS STUPID GENERATION?!? WHY!? :(

  • very nice

  • Real song writers were so popular here in America for such a long time. Long time ago now. Great band.

Stop talking about Scrubs. No one watches Scrubs. It's lame. I've never met anyone who watches Scrubs and I've lived in 6 states and travelled to 7 countries. I thought it was some kind of conspiracy and people were just paid to watch and promote it. Must be subliminal messages in the show or something.....

  • I like both this version and the accoustic scrubs version

Colin Hay did them both brilliantly.

  • Fuck scrubs!

  • scrubs brought me here

  • A huge fan of MEN AT WORK,since 'Gargo'+ 'Down Under',all those Mates, which have known from Adelaide and Brisbane= told me about this this music-first bought Album-83.... been fan, because Colin Hay's unique vocals and Bands multitalented musicians!!Thanks for sharing! • I need some 80s music rocket fuel to get this final report done by 9 am tomorrow!

  • POSIBLES COMPLICACIONES, TALVEZ SEA MI IMAGINACION...

  • I've been to this place man ! Melbourne St. Kilda is awesome ! Greetings from Brasil

  • This is one of the top 5 80s songs featuring the sax!

  • I LIKE IT...

  • Colin Hay looks a bit like Christopher Eccleston here, I think that's pretty funny.

  • Love the guitar and sax starting @2:00. Very unique sound and band.

  • Heard my men at work trio (down under who can it be now overkill) for the day

  • This song brings back good memories with an ex of mine who was my bestfriend not just my bf haha i always used to sing the first 2 lines and then randomly during the day he used to start singing this song...i always managed to get it stuck in his head. Miss ya lee and the fun we had :)

  • How great is it when he goes "I CAN'T GET TO SLEEP!"? . . . all caps variety?

  • Chuck Norris is EVERYWHERE!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • good music is good music...figure it out metal monkeys

  • You guys have got to look at his sad youtube page... it's fucking Otto Mann from the Simpsons!!! He's soooo rude... he's sticking his finger up at us in his profile pic... woah man!!! That's so hardcore dude!!!! I thought you Canadians were friendly! This is bbbbbbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddddd ass Canadian and he don't like Men At Work, cause he's a OVERKILL fan... I'm gonna close all my nzoz channels and hide under my bed!!!

  • @nzoz1983 And you said that I AM special ? loll

I'm not as hardcore as that 1:54 lmao

  • @Hellmental85 Why are you removing your comments? Just type a sensible comment and then you wont have to remove it like a little coward.

  • @nzoz1983 The only comment that i remember to remove was because I wanted to answer someone but i didn't wrote in the good space. I restarted the same at the right place. Special that you talk about that.. who care lol ? :P

  • @nzoz1983

You're born 1983? That makes you twenty eight years old, and you articulate yourself like a fucking four year old with a railroad spike jammed into his temporal lobe... Quit making such a big fucking deal about trivial bullshit and learn how to write on at least a remedial level...

  • Che voce! What a voice!

  • Colin has taco eye

  • Oh by the way, I'm proud to be one of those 214 people lol !! ;)

They are probably 214 people that was seaching for Overkill band.

  • Oh last thing... who the fuck is Justin Bieber ?!?!

  • thanks Dad x gettin me into rock´s 80. love this band

  • I wish Hellmental85's comment was still on here so I could see what he said to enrage everyone. It must have been quite a comment!

  • @wilmajo

    It is as follows:

Was searching for Overkill band and I fall on this shit.

This is gonna be a bad day.

  • @wilmajo Oh i said that i was searching for Overkill band, and i fall on this shit loll. I think you people listening to that kind of music aren't get used to see somebody else talk shit on your.. shit.

So im surprise to see how much you can be hater against those who said a little opinion throught a joke ! lol you're not better than me at all haha.

Last thing, just want to say to OzEx that 4000 x 1000 is closer to 4 233 282 that 5 million. But here again it was only a joke about F5 ;)

  • @Hellmental85

"I think you people listening to that kind of music (aren't get) used to see somebody else talk shit on your.. shit." <------ Surely, you don't speak like this in real life. I don't want to pick on the intellectually challenged - not online and not in real life. Just let us all know that you sound normal in real life and that you're just not all that good when it comes to grammar.

  • @nzoz1983 English is not my first langage, right. Je m'expliquerais bin mieu en francais mais a ce moment la vous comprenneriez rien.. Better communicate in English even with my problems of grammar than trying to make you understand what in french. Maybe i look idiot, but imagine what you would have look if it is tried in French. You probably could not understand at all without a translator lol.

  • @Hellmental85 Ben, mon gars, faudrait peut être aussi que tu apprennes la grammaire française!!! "comprendre" au conditionnel est "comprendriez", okay? Autrement ton anglais est parfaitement intelligible. lol

  • @wilmajo It was nothing more than him saying that the song sucks and that he only stumbled on this video because he was searching for the heavy-metal group Overkill. I wouldn't take a comment very seriously, so I just allowed everybody else to put their boots in....

  • @nzoz1983 I like men at work and overkill. But this will never suck. This song is a masterpiece.

  • @brasileirorusso truth

  • @brasileirorusso U R SURE RIGHT MEN.IM 35 Y.O. NOW AND MARRIED BUT WHEN I LISTEN TO THIS I REMINISCE THE GOOD OLD DAYS.MEMORIESSSSSSSSSS.........

  • @nzoz1983 i stumbled onto this song for the same reason

  • One of my favorite 80s pop songs.

  • Why we all get older and this is still never grown up.

  • imagination

  • You can't talk about 80's music without mentioning Men at work.

  • Thumbs up for the zack braff affect.

  • I like if you came looking for metal band

  • M A S T E R P I E C E

  • @Hellmental85 nearly 5 million hits... lol... i'm just going to let everybody else give your sorry-hairy-metal-ass a good kicking. Fucking idiot.

  • @nzoz1983 @nzoz1983 Im pretty sure that you,re only 4000 that watched this clip thousand time

Somebody probably fall asleep on F5 ;)

Honestly I can't believe that kind of music could be so popular.

The move at 0:11 told me to stop that clip NOW

  • @Hellmental85 You're a bit special aren't you? 4000 times a thousand is not 5 million and for the uneducated like you hitting refresh doesn't boost views due to a little thing called an IP address you mong. If hitting F5 was that easy to get more views every youtube poster wound have a paperclip between F5 and F6 or using a refresh script.

  • @nzoz1983 I think he really is "mental" for hating this song
