both good bands. slipknot get a lot of shit for being nu-metal which isn't necessarily fair. whilst dragonforce are extremely under-rated as a live band due to their shit performances in 2006-07. they've improved by loads since then, but people still seem to cling on to the rumours and the reputations which really DF have all but dropped.

as for who is better, dragonforce wins hands down.

i dont think really you should put on valley of the damned. compared to a lot of other dragonforce songs its a lot slower and sounds very mellow live. i suggest my favourite song 'fields of dispair'. that song destroys and it sounds even better on twilight dementia.

Personally I think DragonForce is better. I Prefer to listen to a great singer and a talented guitarist. And before someone used the old "DF fails live" excuse on me, if you listen to their live album Twilight Dementia they have perfectly reconstructed their songs live. ZP even has a go at a little screamo in Operation Ground and Pound which is nice to see
