I have alot to say to you, one is that Matt Hughes and GSP are two of the best Welterweights in UFC history, so losing to them isn't so bad. Second, if Trigg was Mediocre he wouldn't be fighting in the UFC against Koscheck on the 19th. Third, he was in PRIDE and beat Misaki, Jason Miller, Hallman, and Renato Verissimo. Half of the match you're resting, being thrown around by the other person. MMA fighters on the other hand train 6 days a week, rest a day, and maybe 2 weeks off after a fight. That's complete dedication.

That one day off they get is spent recovering,taking ice baths and trying to get your muscles back to 100% as much as you can, which you basically can't. Fighters train ALL day, usually 2-a-days, couple hours a session, go to sleep, then wake up and do it again until that day off.This is all real, intense training they go through (1/2)

The vast majority of pro wrestlers don't have that option they work live shows house shows etc.. all thoughout the year.

For a piledriver, do you actually think they slam their head into the mat? No, it's merely a brush, if that, little to no impact happens at all, because the guy doing the piledriver hits his legs first before anything else hits. Sure, it takes accuracy to choreograph some of those, but they don't actually hurt.

He also lost to GSP and Matt Hughes, he kicked Hughes in the balls, and the ref didn't even give Matt a break, but Matt was still able to get out of the RNC and ended up chokin' Frank out. He just got KO'd in his last UFC stint, both in under 2:30. Any notable American MMA name he fights, he loses to.

I have alot to say to you, one is that Matt Hughes and GSP are two of the best Welterweights in UFC history, so losing to them isn't so bad. @SteelCity1981 Frank Trigg is a twat who barely fights anymore and never took training THAT seriously.1-2 fights a year is basically 1 month of relaxing in total. That one day off they get is spent recovering,taking ice baths and trying to get your muscles back to 100% as much as you can, which you basically can't. Fighters train ALL day, usually 2-a-days, couple hours a session, go to sleep, then wake up and do it again until that day off.This is all real, intense training they go through (1/2)

@rednek316 thanks for proving my point, pro wrestlers don't have that option, pro wrestlers work on avg 250 days out of the year, where mma fighters it depends upon diff aspects and who the fighter is which determines the amount of fights they get per year and how much time between those fights that they are fighting in. The vast majority of pro wrestlers don't have that option they work live shows house shows etc.. all thoughout the year.

For a piledriver, do you actually think they slam their head into the mat? No, it's merely a brush, if that, little to no impact happens at all, because the guy doing the piledriver hits his legs first before anything else hits. Sure, it takes accuracy to choreograph some of those, but they don't actually hurt.

@SteelCity1981 I know how many fights he has, but he's been fighting for 15 years now, He should have at least 40, since he's also been fighting for smaller promotions. He also lost to GSP and Matt Hughes, he kicked Hughes in the balls, and the ref didn't even give Matt a break, but Matt was still able to get out of the RNC and ended up chokin' Frank out. He just got KO'd in his last UFC stint, both in under 2:30. Any notable American MMA name he fights, he loses to.

Many fighters has mistakenly kicked someone in the nuts at one point. I mean it's not like it was purposely done. Jason Miller had ONE fight in the UFC, and got utterly destroyed by GSP... but even Miller made it longer in a fight with GSP than Trigg did... You're acting like people have 100 am fights before they turn pro? Anybody with a blackbelt is bound to make it somewhere, Trigg trains, but he's lazy.

Look at BJ Penn, had the worst work ethic of any MMA fighter IMO, and he was still one of the best, Dana doesn't look at work ethic when he lets someone in, he looks at how they fight. Apparently Frank Trigg beat enough cans to make it into the UFC, then get cut... twice.

Yes, they're decent. Jason Miller has gotten better since than though, even though he's still decent. Still, Hallman was never really that good either, he caught Hughes twice, which is a great feat, but we all know it was a fluke. Did you regularly watch it after that though?
