  • why would they sample craters? aren't they formed by meteorites, comets and other foreign objects?

  • @immortal4942 Yes, but the impact opens up a view deeper into the crust of mars

  • Respond to this video... Thank you again !Wonderful! Nasas acomplishment in space exploration is truely something to be proud of .

  • I still keep my believe in Alien Life, As we have a infinite amount of planets and most or maybe some are bound to at least have some form of life. I mean if there wasn't then... What's the point of all the planets?

  • Yes you may call me an idiot but im willing to take the risk trying to go to mars I mean it's Fucking MARS! haha jk

  • I'm going to be the first man on mars, that is if NASA even decides they ever want to go there.

  • Great Video

  • and what about the Phoenx that landed i guess in 2006 or what?

  • AMAZING JOB! I LOVE ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS! THANKS A LOT! THUMBS UP! VERY BEAUTIFUL & INFORMATIVE! =D Mars looks much like the fictional planet "Tatooine" from "Star Wars"! It looks just like the rocky deserts on Earth, but with no life forms (as of yet, or at all, who knows...). I think Mars is probably the most gorgeous planet in our Solar System! Just the thought of walking on its surface really makes my mind wonder! BEAUTIFUL...

"The Universe is a Beautiful, Mysterious, & Chaotic Place."

  • incredible

  • My theory is that Mars probaly had life on it, but had been through the same troubles as we have on our earth today:

    Wars

    Polloution

Sun movement Am I wrong? I don't know but it is fascinating!

  • OOOOOOHHH I LOVE THIS SONG!! voyager :D

  • Wow, i am completely wow'd by the fact that those whirlwinds managed to clear all the dust! :O

  • @Hammerschool HuGe stroke of luck ;D

  • what a happy ending! lol

  • I've been always fascinated by space, and I've always wondered how the inner planets would have looked like in real time. It was a fascinating video AggManUK, I really enjoyed it.

  • Hi AggManUK,

Great work, man!! I watched all the videos on your channel. Very educational. I love the Mike Oldfield music too. Very well edited. I love this Mars Rover video but I can't find Part II. Apparently, there is a copyright restriction and it was removed. I tried to google it but can't find it. Can you give me any leads?

  • theres rovers in Mars that run on solar power yet our cars still run on fuel? ahhhh! cool video btw kinda feel sorry for the little guys being i a lonely panet...

  • Comment removed

  • Beautifully made! Beautiful music and very creative! Thank you!

  • After six years of unprecedented exploration of the Red Planet, NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Spirit no longer will be a fully mobile robot. (Jan 26, 2010)... forever embedded in Mars' sand trap, but continue to monitor Mars surface.

  • mars my life by Mario from italy Naples

  • dude, your videos are off the chain!! 5 stars.

  • That film was stellar! No pun intended.

  • dude, your videos are the bomb!!!! i watch them over and over. the scenes and music take me away from earth on a fantastic trip!!!!!

  • For some reason, I can't watch part 2 anymore, because of copyright restriction.

Make more movie about the solar system objects. Miranda and Iapetus should be interesting.

  • Are you talking about the Uranian moon Miranda?

  • Yes my friend . . .

  • Rovers*

  • Wow, this is amazing!, is it still on mars today?, what happend after this?, (I cant watch part 2 because of Copywrite restrictions in my country :( )

  • Yes they are still there. Try searching for it on google, sometimes you can find a site that will let you watch it. Good luck! :O)

  • Now that was just plain luck how the wind on Mars helped the rovers get there panels cleaned off Looks like the Weather on Mars is Rover Friendly and in part why the Rovers survived soo long. What a big plus. I bet they never thought in a million years that the Rovers would live on Mars that long BOTH of them ticking on on on :)

  • were these the ons that wer sent up in 1970 somthing?, or am i totaly off track, im not to educated with mars and the rivers n stuff =p

  • 1970... what am i on about xD

  • LOL :O) They were both launched in 2003. :O)

  • @umpalumpa101909 I think you're referring to the Mariner Mission, or Missions of Voyager I and II ^^

  • @skliau1027 Probably :P

  • @AggManUK Can you please try and find me that link and message it to me please?

  • @umpalumpa101909 Use a proxy server from usa. Go to Vtunnel(DOT)com This is no spam. Im from holland. And i just watched the second episode.

  • do think that life used to be on mars

  • After all the recent findings, i think there is a very good chance that Mars once held life. :O) It may still hold some form of life today! Only time will tell. :O)

  • @pinkypoo77 It's almost 99% sure that Mars once had an atmosphere to sustain life, some rocks from asteroids have been found intact after impact which is only possible if there are certain gasses in the air, like the oxygen we know on Earth. Also, several "rivers" have been found which must have been eroded away, so there was indeed once water. The only question is: Why did Mars die so many millions of years ago?

  • How do you know all that?

  • From NASA and Nat Geo. Plus i follow the Mars Rover team on Twitter too. :O)

  • I honestly love this soundtrack, and btw i got a C in my GCSE's for astronomy!!

  • Well done! I hope you keep enjoying everything about space. :O) Many thanks! All the best! :O)

  • Sad to see no obvious applause of the opportune 'gust of wind' which swept everything clean! Never mind! - Some sweet day. the human spirit will see it is NOT the only consciousness around that is able to work so-called 'miracles' !!

  • Sorry, but i am not quite sure what your trying to say in this comment. I hope you enjoyed the video though! All the best! :O)

  • This video send shivers down my spine. Maybe it was the music, maybe it was the story of these little wonderful machines. All I can say it was because this video was put together so well. Great work AggManUk. Thanks again.

  • I think it was both! :O) Many thanks for watching and the kind comment! All the best! :O)

  • love the story of the rovers too! its so interesting how they look after themselves and how they pick up objects and drive around the planet! also the small crater opportunity lands in sounds like an nest and he comes out and leaves his home like birds. also interested about they are designed to survive for 90 days but have lived for four years! love your vids your one of my best subscribers and favourites!

  • Many thanks for watching and the great comment! I love how you describe the crater as a nest! Fantastic way to look at it. They have been on Mars for over 5 years now. All the best! :O)

  • i just saw those two videos.

man, i have no word to describe what im feeling, is a beautiful story of those amazing two rovers, its sad and at the same time happy, it teach us to dont give up, and go ahead to get success.

Congratulations for you amazing work, im about to cry here.

Im a robots lover and engineer. Lets go Spirt! Dont give up!

Im here waiting for a continuation of this!

  • It is a great story these little Rovers tell us of Mars. They have both done the human race very proud! I really do think they should be brought home to a heroes welcome. Plus i think all the NASA engineers that have poured their hearts and souls into these two little guys deserve the highest honours for there work. Thanks for the wonderful comment! All the best! :O)

  • Excellent work! Great informs!

    The journey continoue!

    You are Great Agg!

  • Your very kind my friend! Thank you very much for watching and the great comment! All the best! :O)

    Keep it up!

  • Many thanks for watching and the great comment! All the best! :O)

  • This is excellent, and to think, there are more rovers in planning for takeoff to Mars. We are at the dawn of the space age ;)

Great Video. I'm off to watch part 2

  • Many thanks for watching and the great comment! I hope you enjoy part 2. All the best! :O)

  • Another great video AggManUK, The music fit perfectly. 5* & fav

  • Thank you so much! Your a Star! :O) For some reason, i like part II more, but i think its down to the music as part I took much more work. :O) All the best!

  • Thank you so much....what a beautiful journey;)

  • Thank you so much! I am so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for finding the time to watch. :O) All the best to you! :O)

  • Fantastic, i love it. Thx for sharing.

    Frank

  • Hi Frank! Hope your well! Thanks for watching, i am so glad you enjoyed it. All the best to you! :O)

  • Im askin again. All your vids have the same unique style and the same kind of hypnotizing music (not to mention the highly informative nature) so do you really create this stuff yourself or get them from somewhere readymade?

  • LOL! They are not ready made, sorry. :O( I first made a few for my son Sol. Then people really liked them, so i made more and more and... You get the idea! LOL I enjoy doing them, but the biggest kick is knowing they are being use to teach young children. I also get comments from all ages saying that not only do they enjoy them, but they learn something too. Thats worth more than any ratings or view counts to me! :O) All the best! :O)

  • the Journey continues..Epic stuff

  • Thanks for joining me on it! :O)

  • Hi Agg, I really enjoyed watching this video. Not only is it fun learning, but it's an additional treat listening to Mike Oldfield. Also, sort of feeling a bit sad about Spirit & Opportunity all alone & so far away, almost as if they were humans rather than just machines. I can only imagine how happy NASA was when Spirit perked up after getting the Solar rays needed to survive & thrive. Well, take care & sincere thanks for making your very special videos.

  • Many, many, many thanks for watching and making such a wonderful comment!!! Youre very kind. As you can guess I am quite attached to the Rovers and I think the have done a fantastic job. Both the Rovers and the people from NASA deserve the highest accolade. :O) All the best!

  • Amazing work :) Magic :) 5 stars for sure and thanks :)

  • Mant thanks for watching!!! Your very kind. :O) All the best!

  • Very nice, thanks for sharing!:)

    5* + fav

  • Mant thanks for watching!!! :O) All the best!

  • I so adore how you put this all together...It's always a treat to see your videos which are not only eye candy, and informative..you always choose such wonderful music to watch it with.

Thank you for all your time and effort that you have put into this and for providing us with such pleasure.

    :o)

  • Thank you so much my friend! Those are lovely words, it has really been my pleasure! :O)

  • Great muzic and movie

  • Many, many thanks! :O)

  • Those two plucky little probes have survived 5 years of hard trekking on Mars. I bet you the people at HQ are all beside themselves with joy and excitement at every bit of data those two send home. **grins** Those two have been through a lot, and I for one am glad they're still going strong.

  • Hi Elley, hope your well?! Yeah, can you imagine working at that place? One minute your full of triumph and the next pulling your hair out. They must feel an amazing amount of pride, at least i hope they do! Medals for all i say! :O) All the best!

  • I'm doing great, thank you. **grins** Yeah, I can see it now: hurrahs of joy one minute, screaming in frustration the next. **chuckles** Must be a rather noisy and exciting place to be at times. **smirks**

  • I don't know the original message your responding too, but if you think about it, in some situations, that's the best choice.

  • Hi there in the USA! :O) Not sure what comment you refer to? :O( Sorry about that. If you click on 'view all comments' at the bottom of the comments, it should line them all up in the correct order. Many thanks for watching! :O)

  • Unreal how these rovers survive such a long and tiring journey, all alone and secluded. Wonderful video! Thank you again for showing a great piece of work!Looking forward to more :)

  • They truly are amazing machines! Thanks for the great omment! :O)

  • Fantastic! You almost give the rovers a life of their own, making the viewer feel like they are living beings. As always your work is informative and amazing.

  • Many, many, many thanks Jason. Thats a really wonderful comment! :O) Thank you! :O)

  • KOOOLLL Vid I guess tk a lot of your time!

    ALLSTARS FOR YOU *****

  • Hi my friend, many thanks, i will be glad to have a rest for a while. lol Thanks again! :O)

  • great new vid aggman, but one question; how are they capturing the actual rover on video if the camera is attached to it ? ?

  • Hi there, thanks for watching and the comment! :O) Sorry, but i'm not quite sure what your saying though? What part of the video do you mean?

  • what i meant was in the video you see the rovers (opportunity & spirit) i thought the cameras were attached to them, like at 1:06 you see the actual rover, how is that so

  • I see what you mean, those are amazingly well done CGI parts of the video. It is done so well that it is hard to tell the difference between what is real and what is CGI. :O)

  • Fantastic video !!! 5 *****

    Steve

  • Very interesting . So mars had water at one time. IT leds the question . What made the water dry up?

  • Thanks very much for watching! Where the water went is a tough one to answer! As i remember there are about 5 different theroies, from climate change to an asteroid impact. So until more data is collected, i guess nobody knows. All the best! :O)

  • Great video

  • Many thanks for the comment & watching! :O)
