Oh, I'm so sorry, I feel really stupid now. I didn't know the story behind this song that Lana was singing until I Googled the information and found out. It just breaks my heart to think that his family & friends never found his body, and never got the chance to say goodbye :-(

My grand parents had been married 53 years, then one day my grandma woke up to find that my grandpa had died in his sleep. It broke her heart and she managed to live another 9 months before she also died in her sleep. Now they are together and this song reminds me that my grand parents were the most amazing people I've ever met.

You have moved me to tears! I am truely and genuinely sorry for your loss. As you were singing I couldn't help but think of Haiti and what the people there are going through right now . The loss of a loved one is the greatest loss one will ever face and listening to this song amplifies my empathy for not only Haiti but for everyone in the world going hungry, dying from disease, living on the streets. May he rest in peace. My family was on the December 16th cruise, and seen him preform one of the nights they were there. Just 3 cruises before the incident on January 1st. We have pictures taken of him the night he preformed during their cruise.
