  • big pacu will eat your arowana or vs like die you cant with arowana for pacu yoy will die

  • i had no idea electric eels could be pets...

  • Pacus sold at the petstore near me are nicknamed tank busters because they are too aggressive and they recommend reinforced tanks so they dont break the glass

  • Pacu get to be the size of VW's in the wild. Great fish. They will also come to the surface and breathe if the dissolved oxygen content decreases.

  • :( miss my pacus

  • thats a BIG pacu. ><

  • Sweet video! Pacu are awesome fish! I have 2 that are small( you can see them in my videos)

  • How much u want for the eel?

  • Sorry gogreen i know wat u mean

  • how much was ur tank

  • My 12 year old pacu got 2 feet long, jumped out of its tank because it was too small, and died... I cried for like a week. I'm 16 now and my grandparents bought him before I was born...

  • what is the minimum size of a tank for 2 red belly pacu???

  • get a sting ray in there

  • i couldn't find piranhas in egypt , only pucus , DON'T BE FOOLED THERE , CUZ THEY SELL SMALL PUCUS AS PIRANHAS

  • how do you clean your tank with the electric eel in it ?

  • i like the big fish in front- when the eel comes out and then goes back in he looks at the camera like "yeah, i have no clue" or that's just me putting human emotions on animals again :)

  • You're going to need a 500 gallon tank if you want to keep all of these, and a separate one for the electric eel.

  • let me guess, everything except for the eel is no longer alive???

  • @Huy805 No.

  • BUWAHAHA I love the name of the eel

  • no pleco?

  • your eel is a fugn troll of the tank he has his own bridge

  • Does the 110 gallons seem like enough space for the Pacu? I am looking to increase the size of my tank which is 30 gallons, but I want to make sure if I get a bigger one he wont fill the entire tank up...hes already filling the 30 and he has other fish neighbors. lol

  • @divinegerbs The Pacus get absolutely enormous. You'll probably need 200 plus to keep one long term. They're neat fish and they have a great amount of personality. Good luck.

  • @divinegerbs You're going to need something more in the 400 gallon range. Pacu can reach 3 feet long and are very deep bodied. They need a lot of space.

  • @divinegerbs No. The Pacu gets enormous. But the 110 will hold him for a few years if you're not overfeeding...

  • @divinegerbs NO A 54" TANK IS NOT OK FOR A 44" FISH!

  • @divinegerbs I had one in my 225 gallon for about 2 years, and believe me, it is NOT a good idea. And jason is wrong; if you are feeding it correctly and keeping up with maintenance, it will easily outgrow a 110 within 5-6 months. Mine grew to 20 inches in under a year (and I got it at 2"), then slowed down. It grew another 3 inches before it snapped and killed 7 of its 9 tankmates (extreme aggression is a side effect of cramming them into a small space).

  • @drgnfrc13 I just experienced him eating his tank mates...I am going to set up my old tank and move my silver dollar out of that one before it is too late for him too!

  • LOL nice name for the eel......

  • that eel is ugly in a weirdly cute way...I love his name too =)

  • that pacu will outgrow that tank eventually i hope you have a friend with a pond, that fish can get up to 3 feet long.

  • Thst eel is ugggly

  • @BrockTheOriginal I agree. But he thinks the same about me...

  • @Jasonmichael2003 whered you get that eel? I didnt know there was freshwater eels like that.

  • yo UR FISH RNT DEAD YET ??

  • @911kratos No.

  • how expensive were each of these fish?

  • That Pacu will need about a 300 gallon tank someday. They get huge almost 2 1/2 feet.

  • You can buy electric eel off of pet solutions . Com and have them shipped to you

  • in a 110? you gotta be kidding. my aro, clownknife, clown loaches and royal pleco take up a 300 alone. you upgrading anytime soon?

  • COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL Fish and Tank i Have a Silver Arowana aswell i think My Rarest Fish is either A Rotkeil Severum or My Girraffe Catfish But your Eel must Be very Rare

  • It's not an eel it's a black ghost knifefish

  • do u tink its ok if i were to mix my arawan with aligator gar?

  • how much was that eel??

  • were the hell did you get the eel????

  • where the hell do get a eletric eel

  • beautiful tank. but weird fish for an office tank. unless its a home office

  • Lol at Kim Jong Eel.

  • guys check out my pacu eating lots of shrimps and going mad and dont forget to comment.

  • It isn't a good Idea to put electric eels with other species, if your pacu ever tries to attack the eel or if the eel ever becomes agitated, it will kill every fish in your tank.

  • I bet you any money all these fish are dead.

  • @MrCanadabacon They're all just fine, actually.

  • @Jasonmichael2003 I donno why so many people on youtube are comlpete A**holes... but nice fish tank man... very healthy looking.

  • no wonder electric eel belongs to feather back family ........... see th4e movement

  • Haha, the Eel put it in reverse threw the rocks.

  • i had a pacu a while back, he was the coolest fish ever he let me pet him and everything, lol. i miss bill, *sad face*

  • love how the eel just swims out and up and is like " shit, forgot my keys." and just goes backwards

  • @AhhizGodzilla it totally does. i started busting up.

  • lol, dude, yes! thats funny as hell

  • @AhhizGodzilla That's why knifefish are awesome! They can go forwards and backwards just as fast. Evolution pretty much said, "You need 7 fins to go forwards and back up slowly? Well I'm gonna only use 3 fins to go in both directions just as quickly!"

  • @AhhizGodzilla ARE ELECTRIC EELS BLIND

  • How do you clean your tank with that electric eel in it ? & how can I get one ?

  • rofl kim jong eel....

  • beautiful just perfect

  • how much was the arrowana?

  • Nice. My pacu is still 6in. He's with two smaller pacus and red tail.

  • that's hillarious.... Kim Jon Eel... HAHAHA! anyways, nice tank!

  • kim jong eel? I LOVE IT!

  • Although the Pacus are, by definition, "Vegetarians," they can, and do, eat smaller fish. I wouldn't want to put 9" Pacus with a 4" aro but once he reaches 6" he'll probably be fine. Mine have been together for a while but they were both 12" plus when I put them together.

  • how big is the arowana???i have 2 pacus and i want to put the aro in with the pacus my pacus are 9inches long and the aro is 3-4 inches?

when did u put urs together.?

  • The eel is awsome, where did you get it?

  • Got it at a pet shop in Hayward, CA. They're pretty readily available in the San Francisco Bay Area.

  • they are illegal in Texas, sucks

  • move out of texas, into mexico

  • @Jasonmichael2003 how much was it and i just got a pacu today its about 13 inches long any tips on keeping it

  • where can i get an arowana at i cant find any around where i live?

  • on the internet or world of wet pets their the best or big als

  • guess again,my tanks 175 gallon,going to a 500

  • great tank.

but i can guarantee you that tank won't last long.

hope you can upgrade to an indoor or heated pond.

  • I've got a 240 planned for my house, that'll keep him his whole life. They've got one in Sacramento that they've had for something like 25 years in a 200 gallon who is doing fine.

  • Don't you get shocked when you net it to move it to another tank? Are these eels legal to own?

  • You can get shocked if you make loud noises or scare the eel, but usually you just get a very light tingly feeling on your arm when you're cleaning the tank. It's kind of interesting. I've never been shocked badly, though. I have an electric catfish who is about 6 inches who gives me worse shocks more often! But the eel is capable of doing much worse. They are legal in California, I got mine at a local fish store. They have been getting more popular lately -- maybe because of youtube!!?

  • Do you know if their legal in oregon?

  • wow you're luck i want to be a monster fish keeper but i can only afford to be a breeder by the way were did you get the eel he's awesome

  • Wow this tank is big and beautiful. I like the fish you have and the eel is amazing when you move him to a bigger tank what do you mean bigger exactly like another 110 or like 150 or what? p.s thanks for com, menting my vid

  • wow massive fishies, i have a 110 gal also, i just set it up and it will be a discus tank.

  • eel wsa pretty sick...in the good way

    lol

  • Hey thanks for the nice comment. I work in an office where we have 15 fish tanks so there's always a larger tank to move things to. And if not, I'll add another one!

  • Ah, that right there is my dream fish tank! But I hope you have a bigger tank for that arowana, it's gonna get much bigger. You have a really awesome set up though, I hope to have a tank like that when I turn 18.

  • wont the jolt kill the other fish?

  • It could if the eel gets spooked or whatever. But he only lets out a very mild jolt while he moves and, although the other fish don't love it, it doesn't kill them (hasn't yet, anyway, and it's been several months). Also, the shock gets greater as the eel grows as 4/5ths of his body is electric organ, so when he hits 2 feet plus, I'll get him his own huge tank.

  • lol you gonna take the other fish out first, because that sounds like one of those things that might spook it really bad
