Your description's a little off. He doesn't use Banish this time; he just casts more powerful elemental spells (Blizzaga, Thundaga, etc.) on the aeons.

First time he uses Banish is when he's Seymour Natus.

Ur Tidus is really good, but it's a shame that ur Auron isn't so strong (yet, I suppose;)) my Auron is quite stron (max hit 1566; health points 3200) but he's really good if you complete his sphere grid.

I got some overdrives for aeons beforehand, used the aeons without overdrives on anima (on overdrive), when seymour is back i used the aeon overdrives to finish it fast

@jaykpz There's a relationship between Yuna's strength and the Aeon's strength. So, the stronger Yuna is, the stronger the Aeon is.

you need to complete the puzzles in all of the chamber of fayths and pick up the gem thing

and anima has the coolest overdrive, i think it might be more powerful than magus overdrive too but im not sure

@stawg007 Ya that is a problem that you cant control them but i mean I beat all of the final bosses (Sin's exterior, braska's final aeon, etc.) by just summoning the magus sisters and i didnt have to grind at all to beat the game. But Anima is badass.

His guards have an ability called auto-potion...For whatever reason. When Rikku steals from them it kills that ability *shrugs*

when i played this game... this part was easy i beat them with my normal chars..( auron tidus and lulu) i beat this 1 on my first try....seymour flux and ominus was the hard 1's

If you don't have the new aeon in this battle something is wrong, to increase their attack level train, or give them better weapons, following my example from the video should give you an idea of how to beat them rather easily.

Lol I might have wasted a bit too much time levelling during my current playthrough. When I reached this part, Auron had like 3000 HP. Also I grand-summon'ed Shiva so Anima fell to Diamond Dust at the beginning and normal attacks, maxing out Shiva's overdrive again just enough for her to take out Seymour :D

i just beat rhis boss today with 2 tries..walau quite hard..infact the hardest part is when he uses multi thunder..multi blizzard..and multi water on u..after dissmising anima..my character's hp was 2000 above..nice video xD..can u give me some tips on wat item should i mix for rikku's overdrive??

I suck at Rikku's overdrive. GameFAQs has some really nice charts for Rikku's overdrive though.

I'm not sure,. You may be able to leave, and you should look around for O'aka or some other merchant for items. Sorry, I know I'm not too helpful, I'm not really an expert on the games I play.

my diamond dust only did 9060 and he was soooo easy

overkilled anima with main guy dealing 1800 cause he was in boost. i also overkilled seymour with shiva(the ???? aeon

I think all your characters are overleveled generally speaking; I remember having much more difficulty with this battle. Granted it was my first playthrough, but still you defeated Seymour with barely a scratch...and you used turns to steal 2 Hi-Potions lol.

I also do not remember Shiva's Diamond Dust overdrive doing 9999. It was a very long time when I first played this game though.

Stealing the Hi-Potions are necessary to negate the guards Auto-Potion techniques. Diamond Dust takes off 9999 even at a lower level I think.

Your the second person to say that. I did train more than I usually do because I usually have trouble with this battle, but I think the main thing was my strategy. I used Shiva against Anima making her useless and I saved DiamonDust for Seymour so he couldn't use Multi-Cast because that usually tears me up. I'll try to think of my viewers next time I train.
