I use to be able to play h3 but now i have a new connection i opened my NAT and it still does this .. i go into social slayer i will find a lobby then just as the game is about to start i get sent back to the matchmaking menu ... this is pissing me off.

are you friggen kidding me? i have the halo 3 odst disk with all the map packs not scratched at all and it does this. i just cleaned it and now it wont read the disk at all so now im gunna waste more money buying the odst disk and the odst game when the game works perfectly but the halo 3 disk doesnt work. im pissed.

Remove the external HD and try to match make....works for me. Prolly a problem with the data off the HD.

I have the same problem! Looks like I'm not alone.... I heard something like xbox companies not using blue ray discs causing them to not be able to hold the amount of memory that is needed to play the game..... damn, should've got a ps3!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wtf dude that is so ridiculous, blue ray actually lets the disk read more info but thats so stupid it just to save more memory on disk. Xbx iz designed to support any kind of xbx360 game, if not the game couldn't even been released, u may be having some other completely different problem

Bungie and Microsoft is bullshit, i got Halo 3 in Christmas and then i got Xbox LIVE. But i can't play in Matchmaking and use other features. I have even change to a new Halo 3 disc!

usually,whenever something fails to load or dont connect etc...in halo 3,you just need to go to custom games lobby,and open the maps folder or the gamemode folder and then it starts to load stuff.or if it still dont work,just restart your halo 3.

The circle in the disk is caused by either standing your 360 up and it gets knocked over or by setting something on top of it. It will gring that like crazy. Happened to my friends Fallout 3.

dude if you wait a couple seconds.... might take a biotlonger dpending on ur connection. the playlists should pop up eventuly..... that error pops up for me every time butonly for like 3 seconds while its trying to load the information

thats nothing about a scratched disk its to do with halo not seeing your nat open (even if the network check does) you have to open ports to fix it

yeah i got that problem to fix it you need a hardrive and a memory unit switch your profile over from hardrive to memory unit let an update install switch it back and you should be ok, it happens because a shitty update cant read your disk and deletes all your maps so you can do customs campaign and shit.

yerp my game disk must of been scratched or corrupt or something im not sure but when i use it this is what happens. when my friends brings his disk over this dosnt happen and it lets me play.
