When I first heard of Metal Man's and Quick Man's songs, I thought it was a metaphorical love. you know, like Megaman Zero X where everyone was obessessed with Zero to an unhealthy degree because he was the only one to give them a rush in battle.

Likewise, Megaman kicked all these Robot's asses, as such they fall in love with the thrill of battle. So now they wait at Wily's castle for a rematch so then they can meet their "love".
