u should use any substrate at all for iguanas cuz I bet you want ur iguana paper trained when it grows up so use newpaper now to let it get used to paper

nice tank. you should take out the substrate though many iguanas die every year because they eat loose substrate and it can get stuck in there stomach an cut them open or even worse kill them
