@seventhSabra This last month (June), and I'll put at least another 1000 of 10mm through them this month. I also own and shoot .22LR, 9x19mm, .357 SIG, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .40 Super, 9x25mm Dillon, .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, .454 Casull, .460 Magnum and that's not including rifles and shotguns. I've shot plenty of Buffalo Bore, Double Tap make BB feel like a BB gun. Double tap is the only one who even makes 9x25 Dillon and .40 Super.
@seventhSabra Im talking about what is the hottest load you can buy!!! Not what is best! And that is your personal opinion based on what you like, that isn't fact!!! Im going by facts! such as people chronographing, Buffalo Bore ammo does as advertised, and double tap doesn't!
@MRpipeherdown That's nice, no need to rub sand in your vagina and get all pissy about it though. Calm down sparky, you don't need exclamation points everywhere.
If you want "hottest" load, Double Tap is still king, and yes they do advertise correct/accurate ballistic info. The people who don't get advertised speeds aren't using a heavier spring weight which is recommended by both Glock and Double Tap. You don't get proper/complete powder combustion with a stock spring, so fps are erratic.
@seventhSabra ... You can also have Cor-Bon and Hornandy make you custom loads pas per your needs and desires for your given caliber. I have stuff that is safe and gives .44 Magnum levels of kinetic energy.
Go drop a 22lb-24lb recoil spring in your Glock, then drop in a 6" KKM barrel, you'll have 200gr bullets moving at 1450-1500fps (935-999ft/lbs).
Don't get so worked up about it dude, it just makes you look like a anal fanboy.
@MyGamer1 No SF = Short Frame. It's not any slimmer, it is shorter in the grip. The slim frame is the Glock 36, the framer is actually slimmed down and is narrower than the other .45 ACPs.
@retthok I was using CCI Blazer FMJ ammunition. I don't remember the grain of the ammunition. It definitely puts out a lot of muzzle flip with this ammo though.
@Eliminator5555 That's nothing, you really need to try some better ammo. 10mm Blaser is just a .40 with a tiny bit more power. Get some Bitterroot Vally 180 FMJ's, they're cheap and powerful for a target round (almost 600 ft.lbs). If you really want to see what 10mm truly is, get some double tap ammo, most of their stuff is right around .41 Magnum power, and some is more powerful than a light .44 Magnum.
@Eliminator5555 The muzzle flip is due to your improper grip positioning on the gun. All the recoil is going into your thumb; move your arm and wrist inward so that the bore of the gun lines up with your lower arm. You'll be more accurate and have less felt recoil, better follow-up shots, etc.
Nice shooting despite your grip though. I shoot a G20SF and G29SF.
The recoil is not bad at all. The recoil of the Glock 29 is not much worse than a .40 S & W handgun. It also really depends on which type of ammunition you are using. The recoil on the Glock 29 is not as bad as the recoil the Kahr PM40.
@mikekazik1 - I use the Glock29 as my carry weapon with DoubleTap ammo which is some of the hottest stuff you can buy in 10mm. I can honestly say that the recoil is not bad at all. Both the Glock29 and Glock20 are very easy to shoot. The recoil isn't flippy like with a .45 and that combined with the low slide height of Glocks means that most of the recoil goes straight back instead of up.
A G29 with hot ammo will push on you, but it isn't snappy at all. Try it yourself!
The SF is for "short frame " .....only slim frame made is G36.

The hottest 10mm ammo that I know of that you can get besides loading your own is BUFFALO BORE AMMO.

@seventhSabra Do your research, and im not being an asshole either. Double tap isnt as good as buffalo bore.

@MRpipeherdown I have, I put 1000 rounds of 10mm through my G29 and G20 this month alone. I kow what is and what is not the best.

Oh yeah, SF= Slim Frame

@MyGamer1 You are correct. I updated the video details. THANKS, for catching that.

@Eliminator5555
Concerning the G29, SF = Short Frame
HotasL 4 months ago
@MyGamer1 It's actually Short Frame. The only "Slim Frame" Glock would be the G36.

@MyGamer1 sf = short frame, not slim frame.

What kind of ammo are you using in this video? There is a lot of muzzle flip; just curious.
