  • Its all in the decay of the echos to me. The original is warm and lush and has a natural sounding decay. The new production decays are harsh and thin. The new production is brighter as well.

  • They are both very very nice. Thanks for the video.

  • I have a 70's DMM. Bought it at a pawn shop in the late 80s for 50 bucks....money well spent!

  • your tone is gorgeous. absolutely love it

  • why dont you tell us about your personnal thoughts on this comparing?

  • witch one is better?

  • I can't tell any difference. It might be nice to know which DMM is which. BTW - the CC is a great analog delay.

  • I can't tell either. The Carbon Copy is a great cheap analog delay.

  • jonathan which do you prefer and why?

  • Which amp are you using? Beautiful tone.

  • The new version sounds like an MXR Carbon Copy. That's not a compliment. The old one sounds like the DMM I know and love.

  • nice sounds. which dmm do you prefer, and which amp are you playing through?

  • duh, i didnt read ur header there...

  • the old one is the one on the right correct?

  • The current dmm seems alot darker then the 70's version.
