I used to have the biggest crush on Lantis when I was younger. :) MKR was one of my first manga, and one of my first CLAMP manga as well. Excellent series, and Hikaru and Lantis make a great pair for a "season" only 3 volumes long.

I have a question, though; i have never seen the anime(only read the manga) and does Hikaru really says she loves him in the anime? And they end up together? If so it's really different from the manga wich seemed to lean more towards Lantis X Eagle couple than Lantis X Hikaru..

Yeah, she really does say she loves him but right after that the three girls get sent back to Tokyo and she never sees him again. I've never read the manga but it sounds interesting! I think I will now! :D

Woow.. Somehow I can't imagine her saying it, but I belive you.. ;P You should read the manga.. ^_^ Now that I have read about the anime I can say that they are completely different from eachother.. For one; Eagle doesn't die in the manga.. And Hikaru is sent back to earth, but she can come and visit them whenever she wants and "Nova" doesn't exist.. Not too mention that there are romantic feeling between Lantis and Eagle.. XD [Now that I think about it, it's almost a completely different story]

Well, i would say that some things stated here is wrong.

Lantis askes hikaru straight forward what they say when they confess love on earth. She tells him about marriage and how is it a vow of eternal love. Then he asks her if she has anyone she wants to marry. I won't spoil any more.

I both read manga season1-2 and watch anime season1-2.

In manga, Hikaru don't tell for sure who she love more, but anime is only Lantis.

Manga, Mokona is god but Anime is not.

Manga, Eagle alive but Anime he died.

Manga, Hikaru, Umi and Fuu can go to Ceferos whenever they want but Anime they only think to go there again.
