i saw Joe with Barnstorm open for Wishbone Ash in 1973 at the Shubert theater in Philly. i was 15. I met Joe at that that show. and his gold top was close enough to touch, but i didnt !......and he was very cool to take time to talk to me while there was smokin' hot babes running around back stage. and the same year Joe started barnstorm , i saw Tommy Bolen take over the James Gang !

I wouldnt trade those years for nuthin !!!!

Well, I'm almost 55, and have seen a zillion rock acts in my life. Ask me...Joel, which is the best one you've ever seen? Without a doubt...a shadow of a doubt..it's Joe Walsh with his band Barnstorm. It was in Lincoln, Nebraska the fall of '73. Back then, concerts were soo thick with weed and has smoke....and I helped! Thoroughly baked....when they lit into this song I about floated out of my body. Joe adjusted his guitar strap...then just frickkin' reared back and let these licks FLY! All true

I am fortunate enough to live in Clarkston the home of the Legendary Pine Knob Concert venue it is even better than Red Rocks. It very well may be the greatest outdoor concert venue on the planet bar none. Now it goes by the name of DTE  Roque

@naderchaser Yeah, and at that same '73 Concert in Lincoln, Nebr. I walk into the bathroom of the concert hall and run into a couple of guys from my relatively small high school in Arizona. I had no idea they were in Lincoln. I was soooo stoned...and this only took me higher and higher.....I thought I was 1300 mi. away back home in Az. Ahhh...the good ol' daze. But I'll never forgot how Joe Walsh and Barnstorm just took the place over. True, true musicians and professionals.
