final fantasy versus 13 is a completely different game than ff 13. completely parallel storylines with different gameplay. ff13 will play like traditional ff games while versus plays like kingdom hearts. versus is a ps3 exclusive while ff13 will be on both consoles

the battle system is like 12 and im pretty sure instead of the action time its battle points also i noticed that lightning kinda looks like a slimer ash with long hair in some parts

FF Versus XIII should remind you a lot of KH 2, since it's actually being created by the team who brought you the Kingdom Hearts series. It's also being worked on by the team of Advent Children. It will rock hard in graphics like Advent Children, have a great story, and will have gameplay like KH - except more hardcore. FFXIII will be more of the traditional Final Fantasy. It looks good...

Can you all quit bitching about the systems. I have a wii and 360, and i've played plenty of ps3. There all great systems in their own way. Each of them has there positives and negatives. No matter what system you have, you should be happy with it.
somebody said that 360 will get a blue ray drive, could be true but lets just face it, its just another add on, how many add on's do they need, also think about the money side of things overall ps3 is cheaper, but anyway in a few years time there will be another games console which will wipe them both down, plus its only fair ps3 owners get there own tittles because 360 started earlyier than ps3 and has more games, i know one thing i cant wait until metal gear solid comes out (ps3 only).

there will be a external drive for the 360 and there is a new version of the 360 with a built in blue-ray drive and some other features which i cannot remember
xbox 360 cannot produce full HD because it has no HDMI input, for example my TV i have is a normal CRT and it has no HDMI input so it can not produce full HD, yes everybody is saying they can set it to 1080p which is true but this does not set it in a HD mode just a 1080p upscalling. The game discs you get for a xbox 360 arent HD themselves therefore the games cannot play in HD. It has been said by square that ff13 is only comming on ps3 but look at it this way 360 sucks and 360 owners know it.

Final fantasy 13 will go on the 360 i know it will . Square Enix has been supporting the 360 way more then the ps3. so far the 360 has infinite undiscovery which is by square enix , Final Fantasy 11 also by square enix and the last remnant which is also by square enix so as of right now what rpg game does the ps3 have that is from square enix none right and dont count FF13 cause that not even out yet and yes the last remnant is also for ps3 but thats it.
dumbass FFXIII & FFvXIII were announced PS3 exclusives months ago. If it went to the 360, it'll be like 8 discs. PS3 is infinitely better, accept it and move on.
Those games have been announced PS3 exclusive, you are right but the games wouldn't necesarily have to be written on multiple discs to be ported, they would just render the higher resolution graphics on the system rather then code it on the disc, a small sacrafice really. I base this on the assumption that they didnt actually use the entire blue-ray disc for the game.
yes, i've played many and so far not a single one filled an entire dual-layer dvd, I bet the new FF13 games could fit on a DVD if the resolution was 480p, then they could use progressive scanning to upscale it to a simulated 1080p. Again this is my guess so I admit i could be wrong depending on how muh game content the put into the new one. (i was not impressed at all with the lack of content in FF12!!!)
oh, lol you think the 360s graphics hardware cant handle this game? I was under the impression you thought it would have to be placed on multiple discs to come out for the 360... The 360s graphics emulator can easily handle this game with very little if any graphics changes, its the discs that limit the 360s ability (also the fact the Microsoft made it lol). I was showing in my last statement how the game could be written on a DVD (which the 360 games are written on) without using multiple discs

SE has always supported PS from the very begining (almost) never Micro. Until resently. Final Fantasy games have always come to PS first...if they ever decide to make it for 360... it will be awhile. I beleive SE (Final Fantasy) division has a contract with PS.
I hope this game's story will have some form of something about being in love with someone, cuz all FF's that had that in the story were awesome and the rest were mostly.....meh.....
Its been confirmed that FF13 and FFv13 will be for ps3 ONLY. they are gunna make more FF13 tho that will be for xbox360. but those 2 games are not. just look it up.

I knew about that guy was part of final fantasy and square enix but i thought he left? maybe im wrong. but infinite undiscovery is in fact made by tri-ace. Its just published by square enix. So that doesn't count as a square enix game since its not theirs. And as I mentioned before, square is making about 6 games in ff13 compilation.

if you do get a 360 get the white 360 with the hdmi port on the system cause those are the ones with the new 65nm cooling chip so your 360 will never die on you.
for rpg games you should get lost odyssey , blue dragon , mass effect , oblivion , eternal sonata , kingdom under fire: circle of doom , final fantasy 11 and the upcoming fable 2.
for action games get bioshock , army of two , frontlines: fuel of war , call of duty 4 , turok , crackdown , ghost recon: advanced warfighter 2 , rainbow six vegas , rainbow six vegas 2 , dead rising , the orange box , condemned 1 , condemned 2 , dark sector and more. i would put more games down for you but its too many for me to write down. some of those games that i wrote down for you are also on ps3 but trust me on this get the 360 version it has better online multiplayer then ps3
well then your eyes decieve you becuase xbox games can only deliver upscaled 1080p which is not as good as "true HD", a minor difference between the two but claiming the xbox has better graphics when it comes to resolution is retarded... not saying the 360 is worse than the ps3, i'd probably own one if online was free lol
cool, so you must own Halo 3 if you have a 360 right... well i hope you are pleased to know that it is has a max resolution of 640p native and 1080p upscaled, the only 360 games that run 1080p natively (i.e true HD) are Boogie Bunnies [Xbox Live Arcade], Street Home Court, and Virtual Tennis 3... many games would have to sacrafice content to gain higher resolution due to disc space, be carefull what you read, playstation games dont advertise true HD unless they run 1080p natively, Xbox games do.
I think they deserve one. It just wont be these two games. They said they want to make it so each platform gets a game to be fair, which in turn will make them A LOT of money. Square is gunna make a profit anyway cause Sony is paying them tons of money for these two games and a lot of people are gunna buy this game. Just cause ps3 didn't sell well its first year does not mean its not going to sell well this year, now with the price cuts and good games coming out.
You can check that their sales have doubled so far cause of the price cut. Even Kojima, the maker of mgs4, said its hard to make a big hit ps3 exclusive game, but ff13 would make the pressure less. And the developers of ff13 and vs13 said they wanted to make this game by using the full potential of the ps3. and its already been announced that ff13 is not coming out in 2008 and when it does come out its going to be a simultaneous release all over the world, or at least that's what they want to do

when ps3 went with a radical architecture and disc format it was for a reason: to stop cross platforming. ps3 is selling & selling, why: cheapest BD player. meaning installed user base & good market for developers. once you dedicate a quality game for the PS3, it is not cost effective to port it to other platforms (due to unique CELL logic), add to that storage limit of other consoles and u get the big picture. soon your xbox will serve as a red light lamp, with a tray for you tears of regret.

FF Versus XIII should remind you a lot of KH 2, since it's actually being created by the team who brought you the Kingdom Hearts series. It's also being worked on by the team of Advent Children. It will rock hard in graphics like Advent Children, have a great story, and will have gameplay like KH - except more hardcore. FFXIII will be more of the traditional Final Fantasy. It looks good...

xbox 360 cannot produce full HD because it has no HDMI input, for example my TV i have is a normal CRT and it has no HDMI input so it can not produce full HD, yes everybody is saying they can set it to 1080p which is true but this does not set it in a HD mode just a 1080p upscalling. The game discs you get for a xbox 360 arent HD themselves therefore the games cannot play in HD. It has been said by square that ff13 is only comming on ps3 but look at it this way 360 sucks and 360 owners know it.

Final fantasy 13 will go on the 360 i know it will . Square Enix has been supporting the 360 way more then the ps3. so far the 360 has infinite undiscovery which is by square enix , Final Fantasy 11 also by square enix and the last remnant which is also by square enix so as of right now what rpg game does the ps3 have that is from square enix none right and dont count FF13 cause that not even out yet and yes the last remnant is also for ps3 but thats it.

Those games have been announced PS3 exclusive, you are right but the games wouldn't necesarily have to be written on multiple discs to be ported, they would just render the higher resolution graphics on the system rather then code it on the disc, a small sacrafice really. I base this on the assumption that they didnt actually use the entire blue-ray disc for the game.

yes, i've played many and so far not a single one filled an entire dual-layer dvd, I bet the new FF13 games could fit on a DVD if the resolution was 480p, then they could use progressive scanning to upscale it to a simulated 1080p. Again this is my guess so I admit i could be wrong depending on how muh game content the put into the new one. (i was not impressed at all with the lack of content in FF12!!!)

oh, lol you think the 360s graphics hardware cant handle this game? I was under the impression you thought it would have to be placed on multiple discs to come out for the 360... The 360s graphics emulator can easily handle this game with very little if any graphics changes, its the discs that limit the 360s ability (also the fact the Microsoft made it lol). I was showing in my last statement how the game could be written on a DVD (which the 360 games are written on) without using multiple discs

SE has always supported PS from the very begining (almost) never Micro. Until resently. Final Fantasy games have always come to PS first...if they ever decide to make it for 360... it will be awhile. I beleive SE (Final Fantasy) division has a contract with PS.

Its been confirmed that FF13 and FFv13 will be for ps3 ONLY. they are gunna make more FF13 tho that will be for xbox360. but those 2 games are not. just look it up.

FF13 and FFv13 has not been confirmed yet for the ps3. square enix are releasing the last remnant on both the ps3 and 360 and square said if the last remnant sells very well on the xbox 360 then FF13 and FFv13 will be released for the xbox 360 and the ps3

do you have proof, such as a official announcement from square stating this? if not then i wouldn't count on it. ff13 and ffv13 have both say at the end of their trailers For PS3. Square said they may make some other ff13 games for xbox using the crystal tools which is now multiplatform, but they created ff13&v13 with it before it was multiplatform. they would have to recreate most of the game.

you may think that ff13 may not go multiplatform but i think it will cause square knows that if they put ff13 for both ps3 and 360 they can make a huge profit on both systems. devil may cry is on 360 and so is virtua fighter 5 and tekken 6 will too and those games were suppose to ps3 exclusives so i have no doubt in my mind that ff13 will be on 360 and besides square has been supporting the 360 way more then the ps3 thats why the ps3 has no good rpg's from square.

and what rpgs has square put on xbox360? on their website they list ff11, which is an online game, as their xbox360 game. lost odyssey is buy mistwalker as was blue dragon. just cause they gave them a MMORPG doesnt mean they are supporting them more. All those games are from other makers, square can do what they want with ff13 and vs13 and if they say its a PS3 exclusive and blu ray platform, why would they put it on xbox?

I knew about that guy was part of final fantasy and square enix but i thought he left? maybe im wrong. but infinite undiscovery is in fact made by tri-ace. Its just published by square enix. So that doesn't count as a square enix game since its not theirs. And as I mentioned before, square is making about 6 games in ff13 compilation.

ff13 and v13 have been confirmed as ps3 exclusives otherwise they would not put ps3 only at the end of all their new trailers or use blu ray since xbox doesn't support that. They are gunna make other totally different ff13's for other platforms, one is the xbox and they are gunna make one for wii as well. So why would they just port these 2 to xbox when they are gunna make an exclusive for xbox anyway? Im not saying that xbox wont get a ff13 game at all.

for action games get bioshock , army of two , frontlines: fuel of war , call of duty 4 , turok , crackdown , ghost recon: advanced warfighter 2 , rainbow six vegas , rainbow six vegas 2 , dead rising , the orange box , condemned 1 , condemned 2 , dark sector and more. i would put more games down for you but its too many for me to write down. some of those games that i wrote down for you are also on ps3 but trust me on this get the 360 version it has better online multiplayer then ps3

No, you're completely wrong. The Xbox 360 supports true 1080p. Some of the original Xbox games are upscaled, but all the 360 games are 1080p capable.

cool, so you must own Halo 3 if you have a 360 right... well i hope you are pleased to know that it is has a max resolution of 640p native and 1080p upscaled, the only 360 games that run 1080p natively (i.e true HD) are Boogie Bunnies [Xbox Live Arcade], Street Home Court, and Virtual Tennis 3... many games would have to sacrafice content to gain higher resolution due to disc space, be carefull what you read, playstation games dont advertise true HD unless they run 1080p natively, Xbox games do.

I think they deserve one. It just wont be these two games. They said they want to make it so each platform gets a game to be fair, which in turn will make them A LOT of money. Square is gunna make a profit anyway cause Sony is paying them tons of money for these two games and a lot of people are gunna buy this game. Just cause ps3 didn't sell well its first year does not mean its not going to sell well this year, now with the price cuts and good games coming out.

You can check that their sales have doubled so far cause of the price cut. Even Kojima, the maker of mgs4, said its hard to make a big hit ps3 exclusive game, but ff13 would make the pressure less. And the developers of ff13 and vs13 said they wanted to make this game by using the full potential of the ps3. and its already been announced that ff13 is not coming out in 2008 and when it does come out its going to be a simultaneous release all over the world, or at least that's what they want to do

Hashimito, of square enix, even said "For the Wii, we have FF Crystal Chronicles in production. As for FF on the Xbox 360, it's currently a completely blank page.". We honestly will not know 100% unless square says it themselves, and if right now they say Ps3 only and they have never mentioned putting these 2 games on xbox then im going to believe them. when ps3 went with a radical architecture and disc format it was for a reason: to stop cross platforming. ps3 is selling & selling, why: cheapest BD player. meaning installed user base & good market for developers. once you dedicate a quality game for the PS3, it is not cost effective to port it to other platforms (due to unique CELL logic), add to that storage limit of other consoles and u get the big picture. soon your xbox will serve as a red light lamp, with a tray for you tears of regret.
