Was 8 years old at the time and watched every second of that Boston series....Remember holding my breath every time Bobby Orr got the puck behind his own net and went end to end. He was truly a special player That Flyers team was a special team at a very special time in the city of Philadelphia. Each and every one of those players will remain a part of the folklore in this city for many years to come. This still gives me goosebumps when I hear Gene Hart with the call.

@bmn781 they are called the broad street bullies because broad street is the street of the entrance to linclon financial field (football stadium), citizens bank park (baseball park), the spectrum (old hockey arena built in 1969), and Wachovia center (current hockey arena). Great video I am 12 and I love Clarkie!

@bnm781 this team is called the broad street bullies because they just beat the living crap out of everyone. including the Russians who were suppose to be the baddest mother F'ers on the planet and the flyers beat them. they just had a good documentery on them on HBO wonder if its still on. The flyer are no where near the caliber of bullies there guys were due to hockey is play differently today but what a run there on i would love to see them beat Chicago.

History has been made by the great broad street bullies and this amazing team tht we have this year. what a gift to the city they were, i love their tremendous fight, motivation, and sucess!
