@diliprai Today's Hinduism is very different from ancient Vedic culture that gave rise to a golden age in the region.

Most statues of Buddha show him as Mongoloid features and its fine with me if he was born in Nepal as it was part of greater India and so were Malaysia and Cambodia. Most important point here is to trace ancient civilizations and their contribution while overcoming colonial oppression.
