  • what film????

  • LOL!!!

  • i see clay from SOA

  • This is a totally fabricated story by the Soviets. Sniping at Stalingrad didnt play that much of a pivotal roll as most stories tend to tell. Cool movie though, Ed Harris is A+

  • vasili zajcev

  • the last killed german is a russian

  • @ MsSkinhead1992 das ist aus

Duell – Enemy at the Gates it Ed Harris & Jude Law

  • Wie heißt dieser Film ?

  • @MsSkinhead1992 enemy at the gates

  • FAIL :D The last Man how died is a Russian.....

  • ATTENTION RETARDS: the signalman is not German. He is a captured Russian dressed up as a German to draw out the Russian Snipers and expose their firing position. The last time I saw this movie was more than 6 years ago and I still remember it correctly. Thumbs up if you hate retards ( not down syndrome people ) just the stupid people that get shit wrong.

  • @ironforge22 The first one he kills is german, the second one is soviet.

  • @ironforge22 You are correct. Whoever said this signalmen is German is a scumbag commy who realizes without the help of the USA Russia is fucked in WW2. This is the truth, and don't give me this bullshit about how Russian winter ended it for Germans. USA ended it for Germans and saved the Russians and Limeys from utter destruction at the hands of Hitler. Just be glad USA didn't side with Germany, or Russia is really fucked up the ass.

  • never any bullet dip, but it was sill a pretty good movie.

  • @YoUrInBaTcOuNtRyNoW6 Bull shit they weren't more than 50 yards from the target

  • @Karl88ful it was, but there is always dip, and wind and not just this scene, through out the movie there isn't.

  • @YoUrInBaTcOuNtRyNoW6 They adjust their scope accordingly so they don't have to aim above the intended target...

  • @Karl88ful ah, thank you, that makes sense.

  • @YoUrInBaTcOuNtRyNoW6 Ya if you notice at 0:01 he is adjusting the elevation on his scope....

  • @Karl88ful ah, i thought he was adjusting the focus, i didn't think that a standard issue scope did that. Thank you, i can use this information now.

  • @YoUrInBaTcOuNtRyNoW6 Any PU scope should have adjustment knobs..

  • very good gun MP-40

  • peace saves lives, also promotes over-breeding mmmmm.

  • Man! Who would known, Clay Morrow is Russian

  • @OllieLango Hmm, never heard of that, but im 100% sure no SS soldiers fought in stalingrad.

  • @MissMan666 wellcome to hollywood

  • @punipunipunisher I remember this actor! He plays roles of Russian Mobs in most stupid Hollywood movies.

So don't worry, he's neither Russian nor German sniper

  • @nemoxxi1 Jude Law is the Name, and he allways plays russian Characters cause he has that typical features of a russian face

  • @Punkrock1life

    Most likely, you're right!

I mainly meant the second one... with face usual in sadists and "Russian mafia" in Hollywood.

  • @punipunipunisher aaaaah just shut up...that´s the german syncronised version of the Movie...Idiot xD

  • @DarthrewanV3

  • enemy at the gates is a good movie

  • there is a documentary with vassili zaitzev where he revisits stalingrad after the war and gives a great presentation on what happened and where. recommend someone finds it and watches, very interesting

  • As the movie called?

  • @feracuario18 Stop putting that it's Enemy at the Gates

  • @lalablablaification ok tanks my friend

  • Backstory: This is from the movie Enemy at the Gates. The man crawling across the ground that was shot was one of the Russians that was following Vassil, the sniper. He was captured after the first German signalman was shot. The German counter-sniper, General Konig, decided he would try and bait out Vassil and make him show his position by dressing the Russian soldier as a German one, and have him crawl out. They force the guy to crawl out until Vassil sees him and shoots him. There you go.

  • enemy at the gates

  • Sitamfricus, did u even watch the movie?

  • if this is american movie that sniper(0:33) will recognize his comrade(0:37) and would'nt kill him -.-

  • ow?? lol

  • Movie?

  • @Danny76471

    Enemy at the Gates....

  • @Danny76471 enemys at the gates

  • What's funny is that He is using a German Reticle scope on his rifle... I wonder if it's intentional.. I personally doubt it. I think it's a mistake in the movie.

Just google 'German reticle' in google images and you'll see that I'm right.

  • @tkach21 maybe you foerget something...wikipedia:The PE scope of the Mosin–Nagant was a copy of a German Zeiss scope...The Mosin–Nagant was adopted and modified as a sniper rifle Model 1891/31 in 1932 and was issued to Soviet snipers. It served quite prominently in the brutal urban battles on the Eastern Front, such as the Battle of Stalingrad, which made heroes of snipers like Vasili Zaitsev and Ivan Sidorenko

  • @mastouris69 Thanks for clearing that up, mastertourist69. I was basing my facts on the modern German reticle #1 type scope. It's interesting how so many nations copied the Germans.

  • @mastouris69 no it was not a copy its a russian design and it proved that PU scope was superior to german zeiss scope because it took only 1-2 shots to adjust the scope with figners while with german zeiss scope it tooke 3-4 shots to zero the scope and you had to use hand tools to operate the scope parameters which took awful long time. Zeiss scope had very good optics tho as they have today. PU scope came as a winner.

  • @tkach21 so its no mistake of this fine movie

  • The movie is called: Enemy at the Gate, and was made by the same director of Saving Private Ryan. if im not mistaken.

  • @AlleyCatGhost they were differant directors ..

  • @luvpump1 My mistake, apologies

  • @AlleyCatGhost hey no probs just trying to help bro :)

  • the guy crawling was not german he was a russian captured by the germans and they made him wear their uniform till he was shot by snipers and pull him back with the roller thing trust me i watched the show

  • @thebattery100 That Russian was the one that helped these snipers and I think he was capture while fetching something for them.

He would easily been killed by the Germans but that German colonel had other idea for him - He used the Russian as decoy so the colonel could find the sniper inside the building. I saw the film and you're right. - instead along with the sniper whom the colonel was after, jumped together and he was shot.

  • @thebattery100 what move is this?

  • @paintballallday90 Vasililie Zeitsave - enemy at the gates

  • @paintballallday90 not sure i watched a few years ago

  • @thebattery100 Pull him back with the roller thing? That's a telephone cable, it's not meant to pull people anywhere. Plus, the film didn't show them doing so.

  • @FlitkoSLO it is when someone is attached to it and they dont want anyone else to get shot having to retrieve it...

  • @lionpress999 The film didn't show the pulling him back.

  • Comment removed

  • @D3TOSS I never said he wasn't Russian, so why are you writing this? I watched the movie so I know he is Russian and I also speak German well enough to understand that.

  • @FlitkoSLO Ok sorry then i apologize :)

  • @D3TOSS Nothing to apologize for ;)

  • @thebattery100 wait what show is this then?

  • @SchutzstaffelStudios

    Enemy at the Gates

  • @eaterofclams lol thanks and i realized tht once i saw major koning i just posted it in the begining lol

  • @thebattery100 They did not pull him bak with the roller thing they sent him out with the wire which was broken by the other sniper to establish radio contact,He was also sent out so the german sniper could find the russian snipers position

  • @thebattery100 first was german second one was the pow

  • Comment removed

  • best snipermovie about ww2 ever. i thnk herr major was the best. and jes that was a pow but that was a good strategy to find out the snipers position.

  • @olilMatto enemy at the gates

  • ANAMY AT THE GATE!!!

  • @RazorUltimate

    Sure that's not Enemy?"

  • @bimernut

    you mad?

  • @D3TOSS movie**

  • at 1:24 that's cold man

  • this was a bad movie

  • @themechanicalunivers not necessarily. A lot of historical inaccuracies and inconsistencies, but it was still entertaining... especially the part where Vasily taps Tania's ass...

  • well yes, Stalin technically banned it, but it's pretty clear he failed in removing religion from Russia. They've rebuilt many of the churches he tore down.

  • @JapaneseNevski yeah that's true, nobody in the USSR ever prayed...oh wait, yes they did. Because I've been there. And there's loads of churches. Idiot.

  • @Slypaperclips Yeah that's right and more people begun to worship in churches during Gorbachev's era and after fall of the soviet Union in 1991, Religious became official policy of the new Russia.

Am I correct that the present Russian communist party accept religious even it's leader was seen making the cross?

  • can't say I'm that well read on modern Russian politics but since the Kremlin is surrounded by religious institutions I think they don't have much choice. The atheist side of Marxism clearly didn't catch on so it wouldn't surprise me if they've moderated their policies in that respect.
