I read the comment below your video.

In the countryside where families were numerous, it was quite common for girls to marry at 14 or 15, but it was not the majority. Surely not at 10 or 13.

But in large cities, when the girls reached the age of 16, there were what were called, balls for beginners. These balls were designed to present young men to the girls, so they can choose a pretender.

They were to be courted, with at least one chaperone for months before the pretender can ask her to marry. Which brings us, for marriage at 17 or 18 years old. Far from 10 or 13 years.

There could be arranged marriages where the girls were very young, but they did not leave the family home before the age of 14 or 15 years. Even in that era, people had common sens.

At this times, women and children had no rights at all. It's not because it's a law or it was a law that make it normal or rightious. If in these era women were free like today, I do not think they would have done laws like that.

Fortunately our societies changed their archaic traditions and understood that women, and little girls had rights too, since they are also human beings after all.

Most of these laws were made by men. Thank YHWH it changed!

The reference in my video is related to Christian laws and from a journal.

We have other priorities than marriage and maintaining the population .

We have an agenda of decreasing the population and one of the way is to make marriage late, illegal sex which should not result in progeny as it will be either done with contraception or will end up in abortion.

So we are not going to research on marriage of a pre-teenage girl.

But when it was being done it could not be called pedophilia

I have a question.. can a girl reach age of puberty at age 6 or 9 ?

The age range of normal puberty does not include 6 in current times but at 9 frequently they do attain puberty specially if they have more body mass due to extra fat deposition .At 6 it will be considered as Precautious puberty which may be genetic or constitutional or due to various hormonal disturbances and as a part of some syndrome which will need evaluation and management accordingly.

Islam allows marriage of girls on three criteria:

1.Physical maturity

2.Psychosexual maturity

3.Social circumstances prevailing the society.
