So, uh, what did you think of her voice? Sometimes lines are complex (in comparison with your usual "ohh baby baby I love you" songs) that even with great diction they're hard to understand. Lines in this song include "Lifetimes, I wait to be strong" and "With all the confidence I have" and "Facades can be tricky things" and "Life has its own abrasives" and so on. It's best to notice the voice and the music first, then if you delve into the lyrics, you'll find they're worth hearing.

jeez I dont want to work that hard - I just want to hear what the hell she's singing about - I shouldnt have to refer to a lyric sheet - thats her job! She's the one singing! I already work full time - it was a very sweet moment when she said 'thanks' to the person helping her remember the lyrics though!

Stirring and imaginative. Her songs are strikingly rich and unforgettable. Smart composer(s)and musicians. I love her voice; she never overembellishes the vocals. Happy sings it straight, that's the way. And no jazzy/bluesy stuff on their albums/cd's. Yeh! There is a soul to her music.

I had to comment on this one for the reasons above. This just made me realise how witty and glorious she is performing live. I ache to be able to see her live one day, and if this is the nearest I get...well, thank you K8fan and xenussister for getting me this close.
