  • This little beautiful criminologist and law student just came upon this one yesterday, boy was I shocked, to ever believe there were such bizarre partners in crime in the world, back then was interesting, 1970 this was made, right when the world was starting to change.

  • Came across this movie the other night on TV, it was like a train wreck, but I just couldn't help myself. I stayed up until 3:30 am. Gritty and more.

  • i lived it when Martha said your a hot bitch hahahah

  • i luv this movie, my dvd has really bad audio

  • @TenebreFan ha fancy having the dvd and watching it illegally on you tube

  • @store275 Yeah, the grainy black and white smacks of Multiple Maniacs. The Martha character reminded me a bit of Divine, minus the lobster lust.

  • This is one of my favorite films. It grows on you too.

  • what psychopaths! creepy!

  • In January 1970, I rushed to see this film based on the enticing ads that portrayed it as a scary 'Psycho'- type movie. Still in the days of the double-feature and at the top of the bill, I was suprised it was in B&W (3 years already passe) and initially disappointed by it overall, I came to appreciate it immensely over the years. I agree it's reminiscent of John Waters-consider the lines "This is a hospital laboratory, not a motel room" & "Don't they have a PTA out there"?

    A true anomaly.

  • PS: It was a Lina Wertmuller film by the way. Check out Seven Beauties 4/12 on youtube.

  • @Chuckscott

Thanks I really liked Shirley Stoler in this. I have wanted to watch more of her movies.

  • This IS so much John Waters and Divine!! Doris Roberts is so young in this. Does anyone remember a foreign movie that the actress playing Ms. Beck was in????.....Times up....She was the German warden or prison matron in the concentration camp in "Seven Beauties". Everyone should check out that movie. Amazing!!

  • Oh, god! It's true. John Waters used this for a map. When Martha Beck's sister is talking to her about joining the Friendship Club, you can practically hear Cookie Muller saying "You should go to the Lipstick Beauty Parlor." And Divine was doing Shirley Stoller all the time.

  • @store275 yes martha is just like divine

  • OMG thank you so much for uploading this film its one of my all time faves. I saw this about 20 years ago on tv but missed the beginning, its really wierd, the killing scenes in it look quite real. Even though its low budget it has an eerie and realistic feeling to it. I wrote a review on this film when i was at collage years ago.

  • These are same two killers that were portrayed in the 2006 movie Lonely Hearts.Martha wasn't gorgeous like Salma Hyeck. She was a fat slovenly pig in real life.Glad to see her portrayed as the animal she really was.

  • Awesome! Haven't seen this in years!

  • I caught the ending of this movie and said I have to see the full version.

  • LOL! The Stalinist music as Martha walks down the sidewalk.

  • someone should tell Raymond the company his MOm is keeping ha ha ha ...after everyone luv him

  • She would make a great right wing religous nut job...hates people who get some ya know

  • thanx for the upload baiafy

  • thank you for uploading this.
