Wow. I don't know how to feel about this game. As a pianist, I was sort of interested, but then after seeing this video, I'm all like, wow, I wouldn't be able to do that at all. Like, this is a GAME. People are playing a game that's basically harder than what I've been working at for years. Yeah, it kind of makes my years of practice seem somehow, more petty and unimpressive.

Of course people can play like that on a real piano. I wonder how many people watching this video and posting comments have never cared two craps about seeing an actual piano performance or trying to learn to read music, and suddenly now that there's a video game it's all "OMG teh game! It a viddy game! PPL can't rly do that!". I wish the game had a full staff scrolling from right to left with real notes so you could actually learn to play. I practice and slowly get better but would make easy

I mean, for drumming games, or dancing games, it makes sense, but for some reason, piano just doesn't work for me. Also, this game looks really hard, more so than regular rhythm games. Eh, I just don't like the PC emulators on Mac. They're generally pretty slow and take up a lot of space. Also, this is one of the few things I'd use on it.

BootCamp is not even close to an emulator, it's a tool to help install Windows on Intel based Macs. It's a separate partition that launches Windows natively - effectively it's just like dual booting two different versions of Windows or Windows and Linux on a PC.

Allocating 10GB to a WinXP partition would be more than enough, especially if you were to nLite it afterwards to remove useless services and programs to save lots of space and reduce boot time.

Just to clarify: it's right hand in the sense that it's the top 3 octaves of the keyboard. There are a few parts where you're supposed to use both hands because you wouldn't have long enough fingers. But for the most parts this is a one-hand-show.

This isn't that difficult as far as piano things go. I'd say the most difficult part is deciphering all the little blips you have to hit, it makes it far more complicated than it needs to be. >.>

Actually, there is a lot of difference. For one, on this there are notes coming to you rather than the rhythm being written out, and for another, there are no dynamics or musical markings. However, it still allows you to play real music, so at least it's a lot more similar than other rhythm games like Guitar Hero, StepMania, or DDR.

mister hyuuga, I understand that the music is coming at you in this which forces you to keep the rhythm and that sheet music is more evolved and sophisticated in terms of dynamics since it's been around since the dark ages.

What I mean is, is if you spent 600 hours reading sheet music... or 600 hours reading this, then I think the persons ability to read music would be somewhat equal.

It's not for one hand, Keyboardmania on the PC is for both hands on a full keyboard.
