I got a 1995 lincoln continental with the optional stereo upgrade and i can't get the aftermarket cd player I have to hook up properly because of the extra wires from the car. Does anyone know how to get it to work?

Most of the problem is with the radio wires. Most car have a single cable that simply plugs into almost all cd players but mine has another set of wires for the radio. It also has a bunch of extra wiring for speakers and I'm not sure which ones are for power or acc.

Steering controls? When I pulled the factory radio out but sets of wires were hooked up. I don't know which wires go to which speakers. I might have to run custom wires directly from the cd player to the speakers.

Yea, Im still not too much of a continental fan...I only like mine..lol...I only got it cause it a fast as hell for its size/weight and police does not trip off of me as much as they did in my 04' Grand prix..so its "low key"...until I find the grand national i been looking for.

The optima is my main battery, I have a 2nd Kinetik battery running my system.
