  • Great video keep up the good work.

  • Great work though would loved to have seen it in HD (after all its a 5D!!) Your HD stream is jumping despite caching plenty of timeline.

  • which swimming styles if done regularly will make you grow taller?

  • a plastic bag would do at a pinch and be cheaper.

I diont know why you recorded the sound of you breathing and bubbles going up.

Is this turtle going to make voices or something?

  • Any advice on how to travel with all the camera gear with regards to getting it all on a plane (what luggage were you using, getting around weight and size restrictions etc)? I am going to be traveling internationally with my 5d Mark II in the Spring of next year and have been looking to get around these obstacles. I am looking into the Think Tank and Lowepro Luggage line and exploring how to get around the 14kg weight restrictions on International Flights.

    Thank you,

    The Meltdownman

  • darn, look at those colors! awesome! i got my housing this summer and tried it out in Sicily... of course its not Malaysia, but better than trying it in the bath tub :D

    great job!

  • how much meters can you dive with MKII ? (sorry my bad english)

  • The colors are awesome!

Did you use strobe and filters?

  • Beautiful shot. The clarity is amazing and the turtle is very cute.

  • which housing did u use.... ?

    amazing video!!!

  • Awesome. Fantastic documentary like BBC's Planet Earth. I expected that you would move around. Hope to see more videos like this from you.

  • It's like being there...great video!

  • OMG CLICK HD AND IT GOES INSANE

  • that's amazing. you have to watch in HD to see the amazingness.

  • just beautiful really... wow. great color and focus. sharpness is amazing.

  • They make good soup!

  • Wow, this is so beautiful. Makes me want to go with my camera under water and just capture the world under the water too!

  • jesus christ that's amazing

  • Hi,

What depth is this at? Did you use a filter?

  • great footage.

how are you keeping the turtle in such great focus while it's moving back and forth?

  • Nicely done. Beautifully shot. What underwater housing system did you use? Ikelite?

  • Thank you, yes I have a Ikelite housing

  • so beautiful! you must have amazingly strong faith in your underwater enclosure, i couldn't imagine getting a 5D MKII anywhere near water :)

  • wow.. this is so beautiful!!! Sometimes it looks like a photo :P

  • wow that 17-40 is great.

do you think a 16-35 2.8 would be better?

    are you using any lighting??

  • wtf?!?!?!?

    wow... lol

  • Awesome, but more importantly, what did you use to compress the video with (settings, program, etc). I am never quite happy with my output once I go through compression and I know I can improve the quality once I get the right settings. I have tried FCP and Premier but I need to dial in those settings so I can get these type of results!

  • I conventerar original file to the HD H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Video, with Xilisoft HD Video Converter.

And then I open it with Pinnacle Studio 12.

  • Amazing stuff.

  • Wow, can't imagine seeing that myself, and to capture it is remarkable.

  • In the process of getting one...still deciding!

Thanks for putting another nail in the "submit order" button for me with this video! :P

  • you will never regret getting one!

  • :D

Just going to wait until after next Tuesday. I want to see what Canon has under it's sleeve for the Fall...if nothing special is on the way...definitely ordering! My 135 f/2L I know will look amazing.

Btw, what lens was used for this video??

  • Nevermind...didn't see the info! Excellent quality.

  • Nothing Good really came out..At least in a Full Frame EOS camera

  • Actually, you might regret it a lot. It depends who YOU ARE. I am an indie filmmaker and commercial videographer/photographer. For me, this camera is a dream companion to an EX3 or HVX200a for one reason: DOF. I am constantly mixing in stills and motion, so it's perfect for me. If I were a consumer, the video function would be tedious, unwieldy and frustrating. If you are a pro dual-duty guy or a photojournalist, go for it. Otherwise, tread slowly.

  • so true you defiantly have to know what your doing or you will think its junk

  • Wow, very cool. Very sharp and vivid.

  • nice, what case did you use?
