  • It has been my experience to observe major gut dysbiosis when people eat a standard western diet, and all that it entails. Candida is a symptom of a bad diet on all levels. I personally believe and have seen the positive effects of eating a fruit and veggie diet, restricting the amount of fats consumed. I think John McDougal has a good diet philosophy also. But at the end it is up to the individual to make choices. Roslyn

  • complex carbohydrates also cause candida?

Robert Morse and Douglas Graham say that they do if i belive.

  • I followed this diet and went one step further and avoided protein too. Little amounts of mussels only. I think the vegans do great with this advice because they aren't getting the animal protein. I think the problem is also disbiosis and animal protein is the exact opposite of prebiotics. So after living off mainly greens and small amounts of beans when I'm really starving seems to help. I avoid fruit at the same time and am watching yeast come out (nasty). and am without brainfog and rash

  • @AM429 I eliminated protein because of roslyns video on the protein myth. It made sense. I'm not absorbing it anyway at this time. If there was a candida cure that involved chicken or beef, I would be cured already. Instead my suffering was extreme with the high protein candida diet. Digestion is impaired, so anything mentioned in the protein myth video is even more true.

  • @AM429 Thanks for your reply :) Roslyn

  • SurvivalSquirrel I am going to presume Candida is meant to be there in your body ?? Yes, that is what I said, I think we agree on that point :) I also agree the body is an amazing system :) I also agree it doesn't need extra organisms :) How much is too much sugar ??? and in what form ??? processed or fruit ??? Were we watching the same video???? much Love Roslyn

  • "Its meant to be there in your body... it cleares of the sugar". At this point i stopped watching the video. I totally disagree with this. The body is such a amazing system, so that it doesnt need extra organisms in the body except in the guts.

What would people do that dont have candida and who eat too much sugar?

  • hellokitty, glad you like the Candida Fat info, and that it can help you in some way :) Roslyn

  • I totally agree with what you are saying. This is vital information and i take it to heart.

  • Mama ~ That is so simple to answer ALL FATS, that includes nuts, seeds, avocado, but especially ALL ANIMAL FATS. At least for a good 3-12 months, depending on the severity of your situation. Flax seed oil would be the only fat that could be allowed after your condition improves, then must be monitored if Candida returns. Trust this helps Roslyn

  • what are fat foods that should be removed according to this diet?

  • Thank you for your comments and questions AM429, sorry I do not do personal diagnosis/ consults on You tube. Roslyn

  • @AM429

so you know, Tuna is not fat free

  • ♥♥♥ FANTASTiC ♥♥♥

  • The information in this video, is based on my experience in my clinic, and backed up with blood test results. Lowering the fat in your diet will have a beneficial result all round. You will be able to trust anything and everything Anne suggests as she has 20 years experience, just remember you are your own unique body, and need to work with that. Roslyn

  • Some people produce more uric acid than others when they consume fructose; it all depends on how many fructokinase enzymes you produce. More enzymes = more uric acid. Anne has informed me that her uric acid levels are quite low, so she is clearly a low producer and this explains why she has thrived on a fruitarian diet for so long. I do not do well on fruit at all, unfortunately, and I never understood why until I found Dr. Johnson book and had a huge "A-Ha" moment.

  • Hi Rosalyn,

Do you have any scientific references for this? I know that this is what Doug Graham teaches, but he does not provide any references for this claim. I am not saying it is not true. I honestly do not know. But, it is a pretty big claim and would be nice to see some science behind it. If all fat causes the inefficient uptake of sugar into the cell, then why do babies thrive on breast milk which is 50% fat by calories? I suspect that not all fats are problematic.

    Blessings, Esmée
