  • bridge pick-up is kinda far away from the bridge why is that?

  • @kabanosi Because my guitar teacher was the one who taught my how to build guitars and thats where he placed it and at that time i didn't know to much about guitars. If u look at my second homemade guitar the pick is placed much better.

  • @jckray ok wil have a look but the guitar is nice in furthers ways ;) just that bridge pick-ups catched my eye :P

  • @luke12omega not to be a dick or anything but the list is really long and id probably forget stuff.

  • @luke12omega I built a guitar recently. Heres a rough list for anyone to add to if they want Wood for neck, fingerboard and body (unless you buy the neck like i did) Pickups Nut Machineheads Truss rod Truss rod cover Bridge Scratchplate (optionable, i didnt use one because i made mine out of beutyfully mahogany and didnt want to conceal it) Wires Pots (vol and tone controls) Pickup switch Neck bolt cover jack socket strap buttons control plate strings
  • @DeepSnowBand hey can i message you about building guitars? i am really interested in making a 24 inch scale fender jaguar from warmoth.com

    thanks

  • @allah211 yeah, sure but i would recomend buying the book "Build your own Electric Guitar" by Melvin Hiscock (i think) thats what I used. You would have to scale down all the mesurements! Check out my band's channel, some of them are recorded on my homemande guitar. Im gonna manke a video about it soon!!

    Dan (Deep Snow)

  • I love home made guitars. Hope you like the video response I posted. We are looking for good pick ups to use on our ome made guitars. The doule coil pick up we used on the video response I posted costs USD4.00. But I guess we got a good tone with that one.

  • you shook me all night loOoNg bAbBy!!

    nice vid :D

  • Nice work :) Just wondering, whats the scale length of that guitar. The bridge looks really far away from the neck.

  • the scale length is 25 1/5. The body is small so thats why it looks like that.
