Do all these different social networking sites truly serve to keep us all connected? Or are they merely replacing actual human to human interactions? Can't help but wonder...

I agree that the internet and new means of communicating electronically can liberate us, but it could hinder us too. It all depends on how you use it. The internet is such a powerful thing that you can allow it to become your life, or you can use it as a convenient tool for real life. It's all about perspective, and I prefer your optimistic POV. Now that Joe is breaking into mega-stardom following the brilliant Inception, I hope he doesn't stop working on hitrecord. Conceptually, hitrecord is really incredible, and Joe is so welcoming, warm, approachable, and kind in his vlogs. It would be a shame to lose him to the stratosphere of fame-dom. The air is thin up there, especially for those ridiculously gorgeous-looking. On the other hand, I hope his fans support him regardless. His parents did a good job with the two sons (Dan and Joe).
@ninjakitten1 couldn't agree more. loved him since i was a kid, and it feels a little bit strange to see him this "hueg" you know, he's a udnerrated actor but SO talented and only a few people can see that :) but still, he knows what he's doing and he will never ever loose himself into this celebthing. love him!
from what i understand it, you're free to upload anything in their site, as long as it's art-sy/creative whether it be a poem, painting, music, a story, cartoons, drawings, etc. it's pretty cool actually.
