Very beautiful Bea i tried to translate the description and failed sigh , but i understand , what a green green in the shot of the lake really something else and i loved the black swan at the end , ah we were just saying how lucky we all were with the weather its endless rain for the week and the music is perfect loved it very much xxxxxfrom all here Cathy

@Irishtankgod The song, it's about how life is very hard, but in the end what matters is home and how hard it is sometimes to be home, but we keep going back there like the salmon keep going back upstream to the spot they are from- I think that fits in my case, my home ( city) has good and bad things and sometimes it's an effort to get there, but that's what I know and that's where I keep going back to ( lol and I'm from Cleveland, that really fits right now ).

@Suzan4B Thank you Suzan. I just love this place so much. You can take endless walks in the nearby gardens and forests and if you aren't scared of wasps you can have coffe and cake in the Schloss Café. One weekend in December the Castle turns into a winter wonderland when they have the Christmas market. Munich is wonderful too. It's the time of the Oktoberfest now. We have SUPERB weather here at the moment. Temps in the 80s and endless sunshine.

Coffee and cake at Schloss Cafe sounds perfect!! Munich for me was the nicest place. I gave only been during December so I only knew the WInter. I remember being in the central town and having sugar coated nuts for the first time in my life! I have heard Oktoberfest is amazing.

@Honeybea264 I forgot about the wasps :-( but the inside of the cafe is lovely too ! Frank's stepmom made apple pastry btw, the one that I was looking for all that time- had to swim back up the salmon stream here it turned out , to have my apple pastry ha ha what timing... it was exactly the one I was looking for, that was strange to have that and this video at the same time :-)

@badbearwatch We stil had loads of wasps here at the weekend. It was so warm here, fantastic. Temps in the 80s and clear blue sky. Great you got your Apfelkuchen, finally. I wish you could have had it during your holidays :-)

@Honeybea264 I was very happy with the apple pastry I had, with my friends- and the lovely pictures I have of the reflected castle that was closed :-) It is in the high 60's today and nice but we have had days of cold and rain, until recently. The leaves are starting to turn colors. It is nice now. I had so much happiness during my holidays and I am so spoiled- it's all good , for sure. Really, really , really .... like. :-)) if you know what I mean

@DrNworb You are welcome, Doug. Raesfeld is a little gem. Thees Uhlmann, the musician does a lot of projects in Canada. I think thats where he got the inspiration for the title from: "For spawning and dying the salmon swims up the stream" - means to me: a declaration to the country, the place you come from, love your home.

@3cats2kids1love Raesfeld liegt am Rande des nordwestlichen Ruhrgebiets. Ja, auch bei uns gibt es schöne Ecken. Bin ja selber ein Blow-in aus dem Rheinland aber ich LIEBE meinen Ruhrpott, die herbe Schönheit. Und wenn es mal nicht so schön ist, sind es die Menschen! @RockyBDemilleFan Yes, very green for August :-) we had loads of rain before. The summer here was a disappointment. I was glad that N. came the one week we had sunshine. Raesfeld is indeed a lovely place. In December they do a Christmas market with little stalls and music. That is one of the highlights of the year for me.
