  • Good, I prefer the version by Vanden Plas.

  • @Rogerkreischer Yes, I love Vanden Plas... didnt know they did this. Of course you understand this is a 1 chance, live take, there were no studios, special effects, etc... I had one shot to nail this with no over dubs. It can be better, I agree, but feel this is a decent effort given the circumstances. I highly recommend all experienced students of singing technique to try to learn it, you will grow from its challenges.

I intend to do another version soon... but not a priority at the moment.

  • Man. This song is performed by "the big boys" only. Well done on one of the toughest songs to sing ever written. Will love to try this one day.

  • @jmurf999 Interesting John, because in fact, my top vocal athletes volunteer... or sometimes are assigned to learn this song. It is an "Etude". After learning to sing this song with conviction and proper technique, you emerge a much stronger singer. It is standard fare for TVS vocal athletes.

  • @roblunte Setting a goal for this song by my birthday (5/3)! Will be ordering the 4 Pillars package next week!

  • @jmurf999 Sounds great John... this will be a very productive "Journey".

  • @roblunte No doubt Robert! I'm out to be the best at this.

  • Overall a really good performance Robert! I heard to hints of Rob Halford in there at times and I mean that in the best possible way my friend. Keep rocking' dude!

  • Hi Robert! You have a very strong voice. I live in Spain and I use your lessons. Thanks theacher.

  • Thanks for the feedback... Yes, Im aware its not exactly the "theater" version, but its my version... we are a bit "edgey" at TVS. Glad you like it.

  • The notes at 3:38 are a little flat but some nice high G's in there Rob. The performance is a bit too "off Broadway over the top" for me, but a great vocal nonetheless.

  • I did the orchestration your singing to now. I'd like to be credited as the manufacturer of the backingtrack! My name is Johan Mörk and live in Sweden. Neat singing :)

  • Joseph on behalf of myself and my entire studio, we greatly appreciate your work. You are very talented and this sounds great. I would like to speak to you about doing more "bed tracks" for my work at TVS? send me an email.
