axctvyt, in the written music, everything after 1:50 is pretty much completely unwritten improv. (I played this show four times a week for a ten week run.) He's matching the original cast recording--but who cares? He's allowed to. When people point it out, it's not "hating." Get over it.

Awesome job! The response of the crowd at the end is what it's all about!! Once you got to the top of the note at 2:22, you gave me goosebumps the rest of the song. :)
