i am just watching this again as you have just sent it as a VR, gosh, your hair is gorgeous!! and i am loving this conditioner more and more, i have to save it now, or the bottle will be empty by next week!! :)
Wow, April! I must say the Camellia is great. I use to use it quite often, but unfortunately I had to stop using it---the smell started giving me such a tremendous headache! I don't know why I am suddenly so sensitive to the fragrance. It might be due to using sooo much of it as a wash'n'go product that the balm mint in it makes it sooooo potent. Anyway, I'm going back to the honeysuckle rose for now. I am also looking at other natural conditioners to use.
Like you Aprilluv7779, my hair loves to be drench with water at least 3 times a week. I find that it is at it's very best when I give it the hydration it craves. I love your wash n go style; and I'm looking forward to seeing your twists out. I could use one of those color sticks. Where did you purchase it? You are a fresh face. Straight out of the shower beautiful women. Thanks for sharing your hair regimen with us. I always look forward to seeing your video's. Something very comforting about U.
Purchased the Aubrey White Camellia Conditioner yesterday, used it on my hair last night and just took out the twists. My hair looks and feels absolutely fabulous, and there is a brilliant shine throughout my curls!
@julio60x OMGoodness! I am so happy for you! I love the smoothing effect and the shine! Please up date me on your results. I ordered 8 bottles from Vitacost at a discount. Please consider doing a video response. Thanks for keeping me updated.
Great washngo. Looks like you are doing the CG method but with small application of gel. Do you find that your scalp gets dry or itchy doing drenching your hair in water & applying conditioner 3-4 x a week?
@corkscrewakia No. Not at all. When I don't cowash often enough that is when my scalp gets dry and itchy :). Twice a week I will message my scalp with an herbal infused oil the night before cowashing.
@corkscrewakia Thank you. I know it's nothing new but I had a request from a Curly GOddess and I wanted to keep my promise to her :). It is a modified CG method. But I think it's closer to the "Tightly Coiled" method.
I love AO White Camellia conditioner. I was sold when I saw that it had geranium in it (I love the smell of Geranium!) and it had a similar (but not identical) base to Honeysuckle rose. I use both and they both work very well for my hair. Your hair turned out beautiful btw. It looks soft and shiny!Yay to the no comb regimen! Im so passionate about it b/c my hair continues to flourish w/out the use of a comb.
@SunRayGoddess Yes! absolutely! The White Camellia has the same aloe vera base ingredients as the Honeysuckle Rose. I too use them both but I get softer results from the White Camellia Ultra Smoothing Conditioner. Moreover, the White Camellia is not as thick as the Honeysuckle Rose and which makes it easier to distribute throughout the hair.
you are making me drool so much over this white camelia, i still haven't bought it, the word "smoothing" has got me, i need it!!! your hair looks so lovely! i prefer the GPB to the Honeysuckle rose, i cannot wait to try the white camelia, i think i will just go for it next week! my hair loves loads of water too!!
@louloumatou Girl! You are too crazy LouLou. I purchase mine at Vitacost for around seven fifty a bottle. Shop around. I sure you can find it as t discount. It's usually around ten or eleven US dollars. I use up a bottle a week! Controlled madness!
@Apriluv7779 :) cheapest around europe is about £10 ($20), where i live it's $25!! we are used to those prices unfortunately!! hahaha a bottle a week, lol :)
@louloumatou OMGoodness! How do you off-set the cost of hair products? WOW! I find! 7.50 a bottle expensive! That's $30.00 a month on just conditioner alone! BUT . . . . I always have to remember, spending money on hair products is cheaper than going to the salon every week spending $100.00 or more; $400.00 dollars a month! I stopped going to the salon; expensive and trusting someone elses hands is not good for me. Often my hair is worst after a salon treatment.
@Apriluv7779 you are definitely saving up loads there!! salons are wayyyy too expensive!! ooh the thing is that here, the costs of life are much higher than in the US, everything is waaayyyy more expensive than in the US, but salaries match (or should) the living costs of here, so we manage, but have to say that i wish hair products were cheaper, that's why sometimes i do order from the US, even if i end up paying exorbitant amounts in shipping and/or taxes. what to do? :( xx
Beautiful Hair. Where did you purchase the coconut oil? What is the brand name of the oil?

I agree. The AO HSR is way to heavy for my fine strands. I also find it more difficult to wash out of my 4a curls.
