  • he is wearing a diper!

    he's a big monkey now!

  • how much was she?

  • is the monkey more aggressive? im thinking about getting a monkey but i hear at age 5 they start to get aggressive?

  • three words.......the.....hangover......part2

  • fit woman has hairy arms ew

  • I LIKEE MONKEYYYS DO YOU LIKE MONKEYS U GUYS ?????? OMG THEY ARE SOOOOOOOO AMAAAZIINNNG ;) I need to pee, sorry...

  • I have a capuchin 2 years old now, love her so much! Izabella Izzy-bizzy Street.

You have any advice for me on training?

  • What is the name of your website

  • I feel so bad for her. Unfortunately, I commonly tend to "pet" monkeys who have developed neuroses or their "human parents" have given up on them. I hate to see capuchin in captivity- "my" capuchin I study in the wild experience such fulfilling and enriching lives, and this poor girl won't be able to experience any of it. :(

  • Its amazing to see how inquisitive they are. They seem to experiment and test things like they are searching for some thing, may be a food reward or the like. I guess that's why they are so smart.

  • can they be potty trained

  • cute i have a 35 year old female

  • Do they really tilt their head andsmile like that to attract a mate? Just curious.

  • imagine waking up in the middle of the night with the monkey smiling at you like that...

    id shit myself!!!

  • I have the money the time and the experience to own a monkey but illinois banned all monkeys all because someone got hurt bye their chimp

  • Hi, do you have to keep a diaper on them forever or is it possible to potty train a a monkey/ape?

  • sweet, i just uploaded a video of my cat! check it out

  • aww they are like adhd babies :)

  • cuteness! How is she? Is she bad, agressive? Im thinking of getting one in a few weeks but im still not sure.

  • Thank you for being able to have a Capuchin as a companion the proper way. All of your monkeys look fully healthy and happy as ever! You truly know what you are doing and that is admirable. Especially in a world that takes advantage of these remarkable creatures. You can really see the bond between all of them and you. It's so cute!

  • I really liked when that monkey was wearing a diper! But he was still a young monkey or he is 1 or 2 years old now?

  • @halofan676 No She is actually 15 years old. She is fully grown, and a mature adult. My mother-in-law has had her since she was a baby.

  • LOL monkey reading a magazine! That pricless! Next monkey will learn to watch TV! :D

  • When I was in Germany in some kind of Safari Park there were like million monkeys including this one in the video! But the point is when my sister came in the capuchin monkey zone she actually tuched the monkeys tail and the onkey was like: ''Who touched my tail?'' I loled at that part in safari park! Capuchin monkey is an awsome animal and cute at the same time!

P.S. Sorry for my bad English! :)

  • What breeder are you/ did they get you'r monkey from? And where did you go to start the process of a primate license?

  • what state are you in?

  • @yankovic1234 Florida. We are required to have 1,000 hours experience and other requirements before getting a permit approved for a capuchin monkey.

  • @xeileen916x How do you get that many hours experience without owning one to start with?

  • @xeileen916x where can i get the ppl that teach yu bout them cuz im planing to bring my monekys to florida

  • @xeileen916x wut do u mean? I've heard capuchins can be dangerous, like biting peoples faces hard. but I've also heard they're smart. can they practically understand human speech?

  • Awwweh, when he smiles xDD

  • I like how she gets mad that the cap doesn't go on right, so she thinks screw it I'll draw more xD

  • 0:54 r2d2 :o

  • DAFTPUNK FTW :39 !!!

  • I so jeasous. I want a monkey

  • Do your monkeys ever attack people?

Like when that lady got her face ripped off by that monkey that had just snapped for no reason.

  • @Periwinkleton First off. The attack wasn't from a monkey, it was from an Ape. A Chimpanzee to be exact. It also snapped for a reason, it was on Zanex and wasn't neutered. It was many years of sexual frustration built up and was on a medicine which altered it's personality that day. Please know the whole story first. :)

  • @Periwinkleton I meant my comment in the nicest way :)

  • Where can you get capuchin monkeys? They look sweet!

  • This is adorable! :D She's flirting with you!! XD

  • This is ilegal, you know? (Zelda CDI style!)

  • what language do the monkeys speak? I am thinking of getting one but I think if I learn some of the language before it will help me out.

    Thanks!

  • stupid mankey

  • I may sound dumb but, where the heck can I get a monkey? I live in California and I really want one.

  • You should watch the show Fatal Attractions.

  • @SeveredBanana those people have pet apes, horses, tigers, and panthers. Monkeys like this are not going to kill you if trained right and gotten from a reliable source.

@dsv519 hopefully you're kidding, or you're just a really bad troll or stupid person.

  • @errorzinvalid Actually, one of my friends had his lungs ripped out through his throat by a capuchin. It then used one of them as a hat.

  • @SeveredBanana I'm sorry if that's true, but using lungs as a hat sounds pretty funny. Could have just said he put them on his head. Calling fake until you show some kind of proof. That kind of stuff is news worthy, and unless it wasn't made public, it's out there in some article somewhere.

  • @SeveredBanana really... you expect me to believe that? a capuchin monkey is at least 4x weaker than an average 15 your old, and if he's under 15 he shouldnt really own a monkey. You lung is pretty fat compared to your neck........

  • WELL HOW THE HECK DID I END UP IN HERE!

    *AAAAAAAAAAAA*

  • @SetisX81 With all respect.... neither is theplace of dogs, birds, hamsters, ferrets, cats.....but Peole still keep them as pets. It all depends on the level of care provided. The life style is different but not neccessarily worse. People used to live in caves...but we now live in house.. food for thought.

  • @xeileen916x I like how you think. I try to tell people something similar to this and they just dismiss me. I'd love to have a pet monkey but I dont' think it's practical with the cost and having to give them so much care.

  • @xeileen916x Honestly thats the most refreshing view ive seen in a long time. Well said.

  • @xeileen916x However dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, hamsters... all of them have social behaviors with their own species that can be replaced by that of humans- Monkeys live in large family groups and one human family cannot possibly give that animal all the proper socialization it needs. Not to mention that, sweet as they are, even Capuchin monkeys are capable of severe injury and harm to the owner. Be careful.

  • OneyNG..Likes Monkeys.

  • lol we also got that telenor commercial in norway

  • mmmmm mmmmm

somebody needs to spank the monkey.

and it isn't the girl if you know what I'm saying.

the.... the monkey... the monkey is my penis.

  • @Sirthatguy

Your penis is a monkey? thats just strange. Well don't spank it, the last thing you want is a angry monkey between your legs.

  • OneyNG

  • haha love daft punk in the background

  • I want one of these so bad, but I heard they are really likley to attack their owners and I heard lots of stories like that. Is this true>

  • do pet monkeys wear diapers all their life?

  • @radicalmark22 Pretty much when inside the house. They are very difficult to potty train. Some owners have accomplished that they go in the same spot, but it is more like 90-95% of the time.

  • omg the flirting part reminded me so much of night at the museum

  • 人間みたいに文句を言わないし可愛い(息子・娘)さんですね、オムツが居るのが難点ですが・・動物を大事に・・。

  • how do you adopt a monkey like this

  • you must be loaded with cash to get a monkey like that

  • i've been tryin to look into buying one as a pet...where would i go? anyone know?

  • Do you suggest to put the collar arround the waist instead that arround the neck? and why?

  • @theamberco I use the waist. There is less choking hazard, and most likely more comfortable for them.

  • is that a male or a female ?

  • if you do your history when a monkey smiles that means they are scared. look it up you will see. just put in monkey abuse and you will see. so i guess your monkey was scared about something.

  • @cpu2468 capuchins and other primates have a varied range of vocalizations and facial gestures. They DO smile and actually laugh almost when happy. Their fear face is a grin with teeth showing and hair standing up with an annoying shriek. They will mostly retreat. She was NOT scared just Smiling and flirting. Batting of eyes is not a fear gesture. So perhaps you should do a little research!

  • i have done my research and have work with monkeys. Yes they do smile when they are scared. A monkey does not smile when it is happy i have done a number of study and so have the gov. So i will go with what my and the gov research say. And like i said if you will search for monkey abuse you will see for your self. Now i am not saying that your monkey is scared or is being abused. I am just saying the facts. And if you thought that i was saying that i am sorry i was not.

  • @cpu2468 You said quote "SO I guess your monkey was scared about something." If you really worked with monkeys then you would know how to read them, and would have VERY easily been able to tell that she was not scared but flirting. If you are studying wild monkeys then look at how females react to other males when in heat. They flirt, and smile. I can read my monkeys like a book. I lived with them for years. It is something a person couldn't understand unless they co-habitate with them.

  • @cpu2468 Many people think that some screams are out of fear, but they may actually be greating. To someone who has not been around a monkey much would think they were upset, when actually it is the complete oposite. A grunt from a capuchin is actually a complacent/happy sound not an attack/fear sound. Again something a person wouldn't know unless they spent huge amounts of time with an individual species. I say individual species bc each has unique vocalizations.

  • @xeileen916x Like i said i have been around monkeys for years. So i would say that i do know a little about them.

  • @cpu2468 dude, that looks like the happiest monkey in life -.-

  • @cpu2468 you're an idiot that obviously doesn't know their shit. if you thought that monkey was scared you're a dumbass.

  • @cpu2468 "i'll go with what the gov research say" .. that has to be the stupidest thing you could ever do...LOL

I am assuming you have never met any government officials before then?

Clearly you are a pimple faced 12 year old that knows nothing about monkeys expect what he reads on the internet and from the "gov".

  • I could tell where you bought it and how much worth, I'm from Spain, and would go to the outside where

  • when that things "smiles" it creeps me out

  • Monkeys grooming her.

  • Oh ok so the 1 you got id the tuffed? Do you think they are the best then all the other capuchins??

    Thanks for the reply :)

  • @dirkjolandie I believe the weeper IS the Tufted. I don't recomend the white face

  • how long does it take for a Capuchin Monkey to grow up? i have seen some at 2 years old and they are still werry small :-) i love Capuchin Monkeys so much.

  • @lokumspoet961 They are usually full grown at about 5-7 years old. They range anywhere from 5lbs for a female to 10 for males.

  • are capuchins good family pets because i am trying to decide wether i should get a capuchin or one of those squirrell monkeys

  • Why does Kailey (our Capuchin) make a weird noise to older men? She cringes or face and chatters her teeth rapidly and makes a weird deep noise while licking their hands... It's only to men between like 18 and older. Except for the people living in my house... Thanks :)

  • hmmn, I am not sure. COuld you film it and email it to me. I would think she is flirting with them. Have never seen one do that.

  • Yes... When I get the chance I will definitely film it and send it over to you. It's the cutest thing but sometimes it lookes like she is trying to be mean or something... lol Or maybe she's flirting, I honestly don't know. Thanks for your help :)

How are Joey & Sophie & Kenya?

  • where did you get it and are they good pets when i go to college or university im going to get a monkey i think the one you have is the coolest please reply

  • @TheBiskey

Um, you can't have a monkey at college. Trust me. Unless you own your own apartment or house.

    1. Most colleges and ESPECIALLY universities don't allow ANY types of animals/pets.

    2. Monkeys are VERY HARD to take care of. They can't be pody-trained so they have to wear diapers. And when your in college, trust me, you won't have time to change them.

    3. Monkeys will rip up anything you leave laying out. And if you put them in a cage, that would just be plain mean and cruel.

  • does it stay on your shoulder when you walk and is it heavy?

  • Yes She does. She weighs about 10lbs

  • it copped a feel...LOL

  • 2:16 what does your cat have to say about a monkey in the house? My cat would hate that!

  • The don't really interact. The monkey does not mess with the cats, so the cats don't mess with the monkey. The monkey does play with the dog because dogs are more playful than cats.

  • ok truth be told, wich do you like better? capuchins or squrriels?

  • Capuchins...don't tell my squirrels that ;)

  • Would you advocate buying a monkey for someone who is always loves having people around him? When alone, I feel a sense of want for something to interact with me. Would a monkey accomplish this for me?

  • A monkey is not a person. They require a lot of work. They are like a toddler in a terrible twos stage. They are constantly getting into things, and want to play etc. Also they may not take to well to strangers as they age. Monkeys have very specific dietary requirements, & need spacious caging. If it is purely companionship you want I am not sure a monkey is the best choice. They do offer companionship, but it takes a LOT on your end as well in care & patience.

  • I understand that,I have read your site numerous times.

  • How do u get a monkey? Is it getting from Zoological core permission? I'm talk from Argentina and i didnt know aout places... Actually I can't have cause I live in city and in deparment but it would be cool a direct contact with monkeys! are they used in zooteraphy too?

good job and good life for your monkey... animals AREN'T only pet, they're a famiy part and nature convivence part too!

  • In the US certain states allow them as pets. Some require permits, while others don't. Thank you. Eileen

  • @xeileen916x

it would be a better views cause many animals what people have like "pet" in europe or united states are from Latin America or some places near to me and in theses places dont give so much permissions for some "exotic" pets thought I SAW Zoological Nucleus n tv pet programs giving official info perhap how can u get some of these animals and their cares, but why can people in other world part has these animals and their natural regions not or not so much? it's good for think too

  • The reason native people can't is because they are protected because they are endangered species. If they are allowed as pets or not regulated the wild populations will decrease because people would go catch them in the WIld. In other countries they are bred in captivity & they can't be imported so they don't stress wild populations.

  • I'd be scared to keep an animal that has the actual ability to smile at me. Taking care of one would probably carry the same responsibility as caring for an infant child.

  • it looks like that diaper is smothering her

  • ur soo lucky i would walk around with him on my shoulder

  • I absolutely love Dasha. She is so adorable.

I hope after owning my Cotton Tops for a while, I will be experienced enough to own a Capuchin. They are my favorite species next to the squirrels/tamarins. I think i'll buy two though so that they can be together. My capuchins better be as well behaved as her! haha I'll definitely wait until I am older though, and finished with college.

  • omfg! that is the cutest monkey in the world!! I am about to but one and im so frekin excited!

  • XD so cute look at that smile

  • hahahahah! its the monkey from family guy!

  • That monkey has a evil smile. I would be afraid he would kill me in my sleep lol.

  • keep the hair, i like girls with hair on the arms. Its beautiful and a sexy fcuk!

  • youre arms are soo hairy that he's like...eating the hair!!

I hear monkeys make HORRIBLE pets, is this true?

  • It's called grooming. It is a normal primate behavior.

  • well that depends on your view on what's horrible, I know someone who had a monkey, they crap, ALOT, and throw it if they get angry. They're strong as fuck and if they get pissed they can hurt you bad, but, the upside is they are incredibly intelligent and can become quite good companions.

  • He looks like a little Indian man lol

  • how much are these?

  • How to you prevent a monkey from becoming aggressive ?

  • Get them fix before they hit their teenage years and you need to get them social care about all day long. So they mainly for stay at home people or retire people.

  • Can't wait till you put more videos up I'll be checking to see if you have put any more up

  • at 0:45 the monkey lifts it head as to say"what dat wuz".

  • i like her hair! looks like wolverine!

  • lol Yah it does, that monkey pulls it off

  • now all the monkey needs is some xmen toys with her and we got ourselves a super hero

  • The chick is hot!

  • does she always has to wear dipers, cant you train het to ge to the bathroom ?

  • Training them to go in one place is VERY hard...not because they aren't smart enough, but becasue they are stubborn and like to do what they want.

  • but it is possible, right?

  • Yes it is possible. But supposedly it is like 80%.

  • oh wow now I want one but I know that since their energetic I'd have to pretty much remodel my house so that it can't reach breakables but they can climb and they're smart so they could probably get to them anyway except for if I put a lock on the cabinets.

  • Lol she lifted your shirt a little and was like "Ooh-ooh-ah-ooh!" X3 I want one, it's so cute!!!

  • I am impressed that Dasha kept the high lighter intact!! My Chance pulls out the wick as fast as he can... maybe with maturity he'll get better :) he is only 2

  • LOL...The first thing Dasha did was take the wick out. She was "drawing" with no wick. So don't get your hopes up to hi. I left it wickless bc I didn't want her drawing on furniture.

  • do u know if there allowed in canada...

  • Is it illeagal in the us to keep a pet Gorilla, Or one of the Great Apes?

  • 13 years of diaper changes...mercy!! lol but ur certifiable flea n tick free :)

  • Wich are the smartest of the oldworld monkeys, And what monkey would you suggest for a person who wants a bigger sized monkey.

  • Is it Illegal to have a pet primate in the state of California even with a licensce

  • California is a beautiful state, BUT I would NEVER move there because they have one of the strictest laws regarding animal ownership. Even ferrets are illegal in California. So monkeys are illegal, unless grandfathered in. Only zoos, sanctuaries, & other USDA facilities can have them.

  • That thing has fangs!

  • I loved it when she was tilting her head and "smiling" at you. LOL! :)

  • SHe is so cute
