It looks to be a 96 or 97 Viper so at best around a 32-36k dollar car, granted its way too much car for a 16 year old but newer model trucks and SUVs go for the same price.

As a parent you work damn hard to give your kids the very best that you can. Most parents also demand the very best that their children can give at any given time in any situation and hope that they have raised them well enough to make the right choice. I have a nice car. I also wouldn't think twice on letting any one of my chidren to drive it. I know that I can TRUST their judgement on most days. I also know that they will make mistakes, just like I did when I was that age.
