Well, guitar hero made it possible with the velocity sensitive drums, even though RB2 drums have velocity sensing capabilities, they just didn't make accents on charts

btw, a flam is hitting both sticks down at the same time, making two notes that are considered one, in case you didn't know

i said that cause the notes i was talking about were just the hi-hat opening (im pretty sure) so it's not necessarily a flam

well, you know that a flam is TWO sticks hitting ONE drum/cymbal. Then wouldn't you need to have TWO little squares on the chart to simulate the TWO hits that you would use on a real drum set? If so, It would be impossible to put two simultaneous notes on the drum chart of the SAME colour. So, HMX does what they do here, which is a brilliant way of providing the most realistic drum experience.
