It was MEANT to be corny. Even the anime was corny as hell.

It was childish in the beginning and so is this because it IS the beginning.

If they continued on, I bet it would've got better much like the anime did.

I liked it alot. The affects could be better but for what they did, it was beastly.

@0269433472 Tokusatsu is NOT "super hero fan". Tokusatsu is a genre-type wherein they use special effects. It means "special filming", and they use it for live-action stuff.

"Otaku" also does NOT mean "anime fan"; you can be an anything-otaku (e.g., anime, tokusatsu, military, cars, etc.) It's not really a nice term in Japan; it goes well beyond "nerd" into "creepy obsessed". "Maniac" is a little nicer, and means you're passionate. Though lots of anime fans in N.A. self-identify as "otaku".

So if you team up one Power Ranger and one Sailor Soldier and they had the same colors you would get Tommy & Makato/Lita both are green, Billy & Amy both are blue, Jason & Rei/Raye they are both red, now for the other four I'd team Trini & Minako/Mina yellow/orange colors Kimberly & Usagi/Serena they both have pink energy and finally Zack & Mamoru/Darien because they both are in black costumes.

The Original Sailor Soldiers team is Sailor Moon rose, blue & white costume, Sailor Mercury light blue & white costume, Sailor Mars cardinal red, purple & white costume, Sailor Jupiter, green, pink & white costume, & Sailor Venus orange, blue & white costume and of course I can't leave out Tuxedo Mask Black & white costume.

To put it correctly Sailor Moon the Manga aka comic book series was created in 1991 and was made into a animated show the following year on March 7th, 1992 and debuted in Japan first but didn't debut in the U.S. until September 11th, 1995 which is two years after Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers debuted in the U.S. so for people in Japan Sailor Moon came first but for people who in the U.S. Might Morphin' Power Rangers came first, but officially Sailor Moon came before Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

I just cant help but wonder how the Sailor Senshi would react if the last, cornered Negaverse baddie threw down its weapons and tried to give up.

You'd think this would happen occaisionally, since the mid-level villains (i.e. Zoicite) hate their jobs.

Do they not know that when ALL the signature weapons are aimed at you, you should parley?

Hasn't even ONE Sailormoon villain tried to give up and hope for leniency, instead of being destroyed in a supernatural maelstrom of lightning and fire?

.......well I think the original Anime is better the live action dosn't have that feel the anime had the effects and everything. Most of the effects used in the live action can only be done in anime the song does fit SM perfectly just anime would have been better. The vid isn't bad but the live action ruined the idea it kinda felt like a Power rangers rip off of Japans own thing ripping it off especialy some attacks done by Jupiter in this vid

actually... Sailor Moon was spawned waaay before power rangers... so...

But in order to adapt it to live action, there are some things they should have done differently.
