dude i would like to know if there is a chance that you can make a tutorial where you explain step by step the use of layers when painting.. like when to choose multiply, overlay, blending..merging colors...
Finally a great great great TOOLS tutorial. THAT is really helpful, xia. When I watch these tutorials and see you doing something unexpected or just smth I dont know, it exasperates me, but knowing what does each tool do and how&when to use them guides me a lot. I've learned with this, thanks dude :D
How can i make sure when i print my painting, it is the same color as on the monitor. You mentioned something in the color pallet box thing, but you weren't very loud and clear.
I have a friend who always has to go through 3 prints to try and find a good enough print, changing settings to get to the most similar as on the PC.
what i learnt is when working on a project u wanna print, set the colour mode to cymk first before u start. coz monitor screens are in rgb. and printers goes by cmyk. k = black, making prints darker and duller than compared to a vibrant monitor.
Have you tried Cs4 out yet. I do not like how they arrange windows in it, by Tab, though harder to drag layers around to different projects. You can separate each project into floating windows though.
your photoshop winow layout trips my OCD senses :P

@MrsBenzedrine1 No prob, people often skip the basic and go straight into fancy stuff. Though the gem are always in the most basic principle. ;-)

why is your pic movable in the PS screen? >.>...mine isnt wah
Dragonblade180 2 years ago
If you're talking about the window that you're working on, you just minimize it to a small window so it is movable.

One question: what software you use to record this video? I have Camtasia Studio, but the recording is slow compared to this video.
