Denial seems to be the problem, if we can't addmitt there is a possibility for error, just because someone sings about Jesus, or can't admitt they are not infoulible just because we like thier music, we have already begun to worship them. This in itself is a form of idolitry. The zeal the people have for these, are an indication of the problem. People love their rock bands more than God simple as that! This drives them to do or say anything in their defense, of their precious bands.
spiritledd, i see that my favorite bands are fallible...so get to know people before you judge. Leave the judgement up to God, and you just tell people the message of love. its as the famous saying goes, "Only God can judge."

Well it's pretty common knowledge among people in parents age brackett. In the late 40's when a black man said I was rockin and rollin last night he was saying he had sex. I like kutless too. Ignorance isn't meant as a insult, only that they, as well as everyone else in christain pop culture are decieved and embracing words that are unholy. Yes, they can heal, and they do hear the voice of God, and you could hear Him say this band is an abomination if you didn't love the spirit of rock and roll. And yes I am well over the edge, for I have been set free from this demonic oppression which so many enjoy and see nothing wrong with even though it is of satan. You see, this is the fruit of their ministry, how can it be called ministry, when young men and women walk away unchanged. It is only lustful worldly entertainment, it does not serve God. I would like to hear from one person who got saved at their concert.
From what I have seen, they go to worship the bands. It made me cry when I saw the kids screaming like they were the beatles, it is idolitry. I heard God say "I wish they would scream for me like that". I felt like He was crying too. If people were really worshiping God, believe me, people would be getting saved. I don't mean to speak cruelly, but even the old hymns used to be debated, as the piano music was derived from old salloon tunes. God has pulled me closer to Him with more hardcore music that glorifies Him. I listen to soft stuff, but I love this. Denial seems to be the problem, if we can't addmitt there is a possibility for error, just because someone sings about Jesus, or can't admitt they are not infoulible just because we like thier music, we have already begun to worship them. This in itself is a form of idolitry. The zeal the people have for these, are an indication of the problem. People love their rock bands more than God simple as that! This drives them to do or say anything in their defense, of their precious bands.

Popular contemporary christian artists call there selfs rock bands out of ignorance and for lack of better terminlogy. Who wants to call themselvs popular contemporary christian artists? Well it's pretty common knowledge among people in parents age brackett. In the late 40's when a black man said I was rockin and rollin last night he was saying he had sex. I like kutless too. Ignorance isn't meant as a insult, only that they, as well as everyone else in christain pop culture are decieved and embracing words that are unholy. Nothing about holiness is unecessary according to the word. If I were speaking out of my own mind Proverbs 17:12 would apply but I speak the word. God says to not mark ourselves like the heathen. What good does it do to get them saved if they do not obey God? This is a form of Godliness but without the power there of, for God will not indwell in the wicked. God says it is fake chritianity. For there is no transformation, for God gives them over to the things of the world they cling to.

I usually dont post anything on videos, but im sick of seeing arguments on videos of Christian/alternative bands. the arguments are usually on judging the bands themselves. I will flat out say, some Christian bands do things i hate, i usually dont listen to them once i find out stuff. FF5 show Christians can have fun. & in reply to spiritledd, Christianity isnt religion, its about a relationship with Jesus. and we all act like the world at times, thats why we need forgiveness.

Yes, they can heal, and they do hear the voice of God, and you could hear Him say this band is an abomination if you didn't love the spirit of rock and roll. And yes I am well over the edge, for I have been set free from this demonic oppression which so many enjoy and see nothing wrong with even though it is of satan. People are desensitized being brought up around rock and roll, and think it is ok, it is not it is demonic. You love it too much to let go of it, that is why you think it is ok.

Noone is ever doubting whether or not people hear from God. Even the slight heartbeat in a situation, and consience are from God. On your page, Kutless is listed on your favorites. Kutless is my 2n favorite band. What style would you call them?? I know its not pop. They are Christian Rock. So please dont begin with the "evil of rock in roll." Kutless has fans that scream for them as well, but they are true Christians. Christ Rock leads people to Christ, whether you realize it or not.

We as christians are "word people" words have the power of "life and death". The term rock and roll is a slang word from the 50's it means "fornication", the spirit of rock and roll is from the devil. I have no preoblem calling it christian metal or contemporary, or pop, but lets make a distiction, do you say christian beer or christian cigerettes? Why christian rock? No such thing! From what I have seen, they go to worship the bands. It made me cry when I saw the kids screaming like they were the beatles, it is idolitry. I heard God say "I wish they would scream for me like that". I felt like He was crying too. If people were really worshiping God, believe me, people would be getting saved. Once they get saved, they can go to church to worship, but this is where the unsaved are, don't you think they should be helping God save the kids, instead of boosting their egos?

spiritledd, i pray to my God everyday and am incredibly deep in Bible study. I don't mean to speak cruelly, but even the old hymns used to be debated, as the piano music was derived from old salloon tunes. God has pulled me closer to Him with more hardcore music that glorifies Him. I listen to soft stuff, but I love this. I am not led by the devil, but I turn to God in almost everything... one of these (one of the most prayed for) is music. I find no problem in this.

God commands us to judge by the word not by our standards, people misuse this scripture to get out being judged by the word of God, it has been twisted for peoples own uses. The "word" penetrates into the deepest parts of man's heart it exposes the darkness it judges and brings things into the light and convicts which leads to repentance which leads to Godliness and Holiness. "Fair" and "just" these are not synonomous. Justice is God keeping His word. "Not fair" is what children say when they feel they are not being treated equal, or don't agree with the treatment they are receiving. God shows "favor" or "grace" which is not the same as equality. When one gets two peices of candy they scream "no fair" I only got one, but God says "tough" it's my candy, I will dole it out how I see fit. Fair or not, I speak the word. I am not questioning your faith. The bible says we are to be above reproach, this means we should not behave in a contraversial manner. The question is, who are you identifying yourself with. The world, or Jesus. We can't serve two masters. I believe you are devoted, but we can still be deceived. From victory to victory. The deeper we go into the things of God, the more we are convicted, things we didn't even think were bad, until the Holy Spirt reveals them. FF5 is contraversial.

You have to be willing to give it up first, you obviously in love with this kind of music, you if defend it with such zeal. This is why you feel no conviction. This is common.
